I just can't stand the thought of a condescending Prez which would be Kerry or that trial lawyer masquerading as an everyman. He's just an ambulance chaser.

This is not necessarily good news. It wll likely inspire more leftist voters to flock to the polls...
and vote for Democrat candidates for Senate and House.
Bush should be elected in a landslide, Nader or not.

I think it's obvious Ralphie waiting to see what happened to Dean. If Dean had done better, I bet Ralphie would've sat on the sidelines.

We need Nader in the swing states. How a bout a day of Prayer for Nader?
To: Kieri
Good news! I've been reading here where the Deaniacs are on triple their normal dose of 'medication' and swear that they will vote for anybody but a democrat. This gives them the perfect option. They may even raise a little $$ for old Ralphie while they are at it. Now, If Ralphie boy would just pick Dean as his VP.....Naw, that's too much to ask.

Yep. This is the significant downside of a Nader candidacy. He'll contribute to the demise of the Rat nominee, but he'll bring kooks in who will probably vote Rat down the ticket. Hopefully the Greens will run "strong" candidates for Congress. Probably not many state legislatures, though.

The perfect protest vote for the loony left! Keep flip flopping to the Right, Kerry!
To: ChadGore
Can anyone tell me what's on his lapel pin? That sure isn't an AMERICAN flag. Hmmmm?? Well, it looks like a capital "N" to me. For Nader, I suppose.
Doesn't look like a U.S. flag, alright ...

What Nader/Dean have is a dedicated bunch of supporters who may otherwise vote for Kerry rather than sit this one out but given the choice of Nader/Dean, they will vote for them out of principle, if nothing else. And even a couple of per cent can make a difference as seen in 2000, where Nader in Florida is actually what sunk Gore. It doesn't always take 5% of the popular vote to make a difference; hell, Bush won the election while losing the popular vote, but it can be a few thousand votes in certain states that becomes the key. By the way, Nader/Dean would definitely do some damage to Kerry, no question, that is like a left wing lunatic fringe dream team (but not any worse than Kerry/Whoever).
