What is a Troll???? I was taught as a young child that a troll is a hideous creature that live under a bridge that wants to harm children.
Apparently, there are a few subscribers to Free Republic that consider themselves the Troll Patrol.
Some authors of Posts to the Free Republic website are accused of being "Trolls". These people, whom call themselves the Troll Patrol, are trying to intimidate Americans who are wanting to express their thoughts and concerns to keep their thoughts to themsleves. This is an attempt to enforce censorship or pressure someone not to express themselves.
I would like to say to the Troll Patrol that this in not the old USSR or Nazi Germany in the 40's. This is the United States of America and we do have freedom of speech in this country.
If you want to find trolls, I suggest that you visit Sherwood Forrest there are probaly a few lurking around.
God Bless the United States and Protect Us From the Troll Patrol.

You have your own opinion. If you think that I am a troll then I am a troll.

"...Somebody piss in your Wheaties, sugarplum?....""....No, but I do not think or thoughts or opinions should be censored or someone who surfs a website has a right to critique what we have to say as long as it is not offensive or vulgar...."
Hey, nice deflection! But you DIDN'T answer my question.
Okay, I'll answer it for you since you seem incapable of doing so:
"Yes, someone has pissed in my Wheaties. That old meanie 'EggsAckley' did. (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1081572/posts?page=3#3) And I'm going to be sooooooo petulant on a site that I just joined and (most likely) have NOT contributed to monetarily, that I'm going to start YET ANOTHER Vanity Thread. I don't care if a Freeper-in-good-standing has warned me about a piece of FR-protocol. I am sooooooo above everyone here that my self righteousness allows me to start a Thread and say that Free Republic is like the 'old USSR or Nazi Germany in the 40's'.
You may not be a Troll, bub, but you oughta grow some thicker skin or go somewhere else.
Regards

As someone who was once banned for a week for making the most innocuous comment you can imagine So, tell us on the open forum what you said that got you banned. Then we can all judge if it was fair or not.

However, if one supports said website with one's own hard earned dollars, does one earn the right to pretty much say what one wants?Hey, I support President Bush with my own hard earned dollars. That doesn't mean I can dictate policy for the country.

Don't forget: "Troll" has two meanings. One, of course, is the one you described. The other is a verb. To "troll," is to drag baited hooks through the water in the hopes of catching as may fish as possible. Could this be the meaning you seek? "The troll trolled through the FR thread..."

Dude, I apologise for posting your email address on an open forum. My trigger finger slipped before I engaged my brain. Probably not a good idea to make that available on a board like this.

I am (thanks to the 'pod!) and now I miss it!
