As someone who was once banned for a week for making the most innocuous comment you can imagine So, tell us on the open forum what you said that got you banned. Then we can all judge if it was fair or not.

Well, someoned posted something about all the negative, horrible things Bush had done, like a list of 40 or so. And another Freeper cleverly used it to construct a list of good things he'd done, since most of the "bad" things on the original list would be considered good by a conservative.
I thought this was a good idea, but I didn't agree with everything there. After a while, and many, many replies, I started another thread with my own modified version of the "good" list, trying to carefully evaluate each Bush accomplishment, acknowledging some of them as good and some as wishful thinking, as I'm sympathetic toward but often critical of Bush. Then I made a mistake: I pinged that person and several of her friends, and tried to start a serious discussion about "that list she'd made from the liberal list," or something like that, giving her credit for the idea and everything.
Well, she was gravely offended that I thought she'd "plagiarized" her list from the liberal list or some such garbage, and she was also well connected to the Admin mods. And so I was banned for a week "for slandering another Freeper," even though I hadn't even meant it in a bad way at all.
JimRob let me back in after a couple of days, though. I think things have improved since then. I haven't had any trouble, anyway, and I have been more critical of the administration than ever before. I think we've had a few changes in middle management.
