Liberals 'Heart' Bush, Meow
Posted on 02/19/2004 3:56:33 PM PST by Croniun
I am a strong supporter of President Bush and I normally post in a liberal dominated forum so I have to put up with a lot of criticism of Bush. Here is one of the comments:
"Bush probably won't be around to fiddle with Iraq by the time more subtle and less violent tactics are needed. He's done his thing: get the majority of American people to support a war, win that war, and declare it over so that whatever happens next doesn't count as losing the war. Now maybe a less hawkish president will take his place and start doing things the right way; teaching and educating instead of continued shooting and bombing."
I was wondering if I could get some help in defending my president.

You must not defend Bush. You must play offense. Always offense. The GDP is booming. Our Homeland Security has been improved by the new cabinet position. Retail sales are up. There is no scandal accusing Bush of perjury. He put himself in harms way, flying 18 hrs each way, just to say attaboy to a bunch of soldiers holding the line to keep the war off our shores.
Offense. Always offense. Good news. Always good new. Always. To counter you the opposition will spend all their time talking about bad news and being negative. That eventually turns off the undecided.

One post wonder.I'll agree with that. It's a wonder they can actually form one coherent sentence. Grammar, spelling, structure - it's all there. It's almost like they're human. However, they failed to capitalize the word 'President'. You'd think one who was proud and claimed the President as their leader, would actually display proper capitalization of the word.

Amazing.
I wade into Leftist sewers all the time. There's nothing those self proclaimed "Enlightened" ones can "educate" me with. War is a part of Life. Always has been, always will be.
As long as our brains depend on these ancient hierarchal and territorial bodies....
But you'd think an Intellectual would know that better than a lowly hillbilly.

Thanks for getting me back in the loop.
Alas, it's simply a matter of time, perhaps mere minutes , before I'm out again.

I know this will be a tough concept for your lib audience to grasp, but this president can do more than one thing at a time. He is both a war president AND an education president. He has done more to tackle corruption in the public education system than any president in recent history, has increased the education budget beyond the dems wildest dreams, demanded accountability from failing schools, and introduced the concept of competition in the academic marketplace.
Unlike his predecessor, President Bush is tough against ALL of America's enemies - foreign and domestic. He is using military force against dictators abroad, and economic force against the bureaucratic dictators here at home.
But I doubt you'll have much success. Don't waste your time with the wild-eyed naysayers. If Dubya really is "your" president, do your homework and have enthusiastic fact-based discussions with friends in your immediate community.
And if he's not really "your" president, do your homework on the guy you're planning to vote for. You will be responsible for that vote, so it had better be an informed one - for the good of the nation we both love.

Maybe that's what the MyDoom virus is really doing. Making troll posts on conservative forums. No wonder they've been proliferating lately ;-)

I agree with everthing you said...but come on.
He put himself in harms way, flying 18 hrs each way, just to say attaboy to a bunch of soldiers holding the line to keep the war off our shores. I don't think 18hrs aboard AF1 is very hard work. Great gesture. Needed to be done, but AF1 is not United Airlines.
