Naco Border Patrol agents were pinned down by automatic weapon fire from cowardly assailants in Mexico on Tuesday, February 18th. The agents, who were pinned down for 5 to 7 minutes, were not injured and were unable to return fire. The shooting took place in broad daylight and the shooters knew exactly who they were shooting at. After the assailants left the area, they fired on other Border Patrol agents nearby. Hundreds of shell casings were reportedly scattered about area after the shootings. More to follow.

Our citizens at the border must suffer these and other outrages because there is far too much money to be made from the drugs and illegals that stream across the border unchecked.

The proceeds from these illegal enterprises make their way into virtually every pocket in Washington through channels both direct and indirect. Proprietors of felonious undertakings are notoriously generous with campaign contributions and very active in the legislature.

When one realizes that the roots of this and all political mysteries lie in money and power, what formerly made no sense falls perfectly into place.

That'll keep the enemy invaders who care nothing for our environment from further destroying the fragile ecostructure with their presence. They're a blot on the ecology that has to be relocated a few hundred miles southward, back to their natural habitat.

"If this is true, this is probably drug related."

I don't care what kind of "related" it is: The fact remains that Americans were attacked and fired upon from Mexico by Mexicans. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. We are in the opening stages of a border war, and we better start taking this sh!t seriously, and start fighting back.

The California enviro-Nazis feel it's better to save the life of one butterfly, which probably has a life expectancy of a week under the best circumstances, over the safety of the American people. The Left is well on its way to destroying America.

".220 Swift, JHP"

That's a nice little round. However, as my screen name implies, I'm partial to a bigger round, say, a 165-grain .30-06 JHP. Now, that's reaching out and touching someone.

"The Mexican government pitched a big fit because other agents investigating the scene dared to violate their sovereign territory by fifty feet in the course of their investigation of the event."

When will the American leadership realize that Mexico is not our friend? The average American citizen knows this; why not our leaders?

"The California Coastal Commission, in a 10-0 vote, found that the harm the project would cause to sensitive habitats outweighed the security benefits provided by filling in canyons and erecting additional fences along the final 3 1/2 miles of the border before it meets the ocean."

Ok, so post snipers along the route.

Uhhh, y'know that hill? You gotta dress for the occasion and equip for emergencies...

A Holy Man once said it isn't what you put in the body, but how it comes out. These go in small and come out ....

Well, let's see. We're talking about Border patrol guys taking fire, so it's either a single guy or a pair, with enough of the bandito shooters that they can fire and maneuver around them/him. They're in close enough they figure can do the job with small arms, yet were far enough away that with handguns or pistol-caliber buzzguns, they didn't hit or injure any of their BP targets...this time. So what's needed is a small, concealable and powerful weapon that can let one guy ruin the cover and movement of six or eight attackers, yet carry enough ammo with the weapon to get the job done. That likely lets out 40-pound, five-foot long M82 .50 caliber Barretts, though a Barrett 25mm *payload rifle* might be a possibility, though still heavy and not especially maneuverable. And at least a 500-meter range is needed, with a minimal *shoot at me here* muzzle flash, and enough edge to get a hit even with a near miss....

So we have to go to the past and out of the US inventory for an ideal answer....Surprise, surprise....

War? I think we're in the surrender stage of this. Didn't Bush wave a white flag when Fox and Castaneda said they were going after the "whole enchilada"? They certainly didn't tell them they couldn't have it.

If this is true, this is probably drug related.

Then Mexican government agents are likely involved. That government backs the drug cartels.
