Well, then, we disagree. I believe it is almost impossible to gauge the adverse impact that the behavior of Clinton and his wife and cronies had on this country's young people, as illustrated by incident after incident in classrooms and on schoolbuses as just the tip of the iceberg, not to mention lying and cheating in school becoming the norm rather than the exception as measured by numerous studies.

The "addiction" by the Government to taxpayer dollars for massive jobs and perks won't end with the WOD. I was just curious what's next.

That is why I posed the question. When the cold war was "won" there was talk of a "peace dividend." I was hopeful that the dividend would be reflected in less taxes. When welfare was reformed, I was hopeful that there would be a "welfare dividend" in the form of less taxes. And now, if we "win" the WOD, I am hopeful of a "WOD" dividend in the form of less taxes. But you, and others already have guessed, that no matter how many problems are "solved" or how many "wars" are "won," the assault on taxpayers will continue unabated, and some new crisis will be manufactured to justify financially bleeding us some more.

Aside from the infringement of my constitutional rights

There's no such infringement. There's no constitutional right to abuse drugs. I'm not a big fan of the way they are going about the WOD, because I don't think they are doing enough. We should use the military and destroy the production of these drugs at their source, for one thing. But make no mistake; to the extent there's any rights violations going on, we need to harp on those specific violations. Make sure we are talking about valid constitutional rights and not invalid wants called "rights" when one desires, for example, to be able to smoke pot.

Because you tried to argue a point they didn't make. If that makes you feel better about your position, fine, but don't be surprised if someone points it out.

FEMA was recently scouting for "volunteer marshall" trainees for rural and suburban neighborhoods. They have definitely been concentrating on martial law scenarios for the past few years. Equipping Andy and Barney with extreme-measure capability tends to back that up.

Yesterday there was a posting by a Freeper who is being charged with a misdemeanor by the Riverside DA's Office for an assault weapons violation. Poor guy should have jumped at his chance to get a FEMA gun too!

There's no constitutional right to say "The sky is blue today". By your reasoning, it would be perfectly acceptable to imprison people for uttering just those words, or for any other reason, at the whim of the federal government, because it is not listed in the Constitution.

The Constitution lists very few rights. What it does do in great detail is list powers granted to, and limitations placed upon the federal government. In fact, the reverse of what you said is the actual truth - The federal goverment has no right to make the consumption of a particular substance illegal.

Keep in mind they're referring to the MPP who advocate MARIJUANA LEGALIZATION.

That's some change in the law.
