Why Isn't the Media Asking John Kerry Questions About Printed Allegations of Drug Use?

Fellow Freepers, this is very important.
The National Enquirer recently made allegations that John Kerry used drugs in the recent past. The printed allegations are now part of the public record.
In 1999, candidate George W. Bush was consistently pestered by the media to answer questions on whether he had used drugs. Bush answered the question by saying that he could meet the tough anti-drug federal rules, that were in place during the administration of Bush 41, which disqualified people who had used drugs in the previous 25 years. At least, we know that President Bush did not use drugs in the period 1974 - 1999.
In the interest of fairness, the media should put the same question to John F. Kerry. Did Sen. Kerry ever use illegal drugs in that period of time? Did he ever use illegal drugs while a US Senator? Did he use them in the early 1980s, while Lt. Governor to Michael Dukakis? Did he ever use illegal drugs while an assistant DA (who ironically, had, among his responsibilities, the enforcement of drug laws?)

Presidential candidates from both political parties, must be held to the same exact standard.
We must contact conservative media and ask them to hold Kerry to the same standard. Did he ever use illegal drugs from 1974 - 2004?

Oh, you conservatives are so amusing!! Imagine using the words "fairness" and "media" in the same sentence! How funny!

Why just conservative media?
We should start writing all media and asking th this question.
Didn't someone once post all the media names/contacts?

Because hes a Democrat, and that's how he's supposed to behave.
Democrats are immune to the world-stopping charge of "hypocrite" because they "tolerate" all forms of dishonesty and law breaking.
As long as they are not being "judgemental" of other criminals, their behavior is blessed.

>>Because hes a Democrat, and that's how he's supposed to behave.<<
But this is going to be different. It is one thing for a person to admit to having used drugs while still a colege student, as Slick did in 1992.
But it is entirely a whole different ball game, when a LAW MAKER (Public Prosecutor, Lt. Governor or US Senator) admits to having broken the laws he was entrusted to enforce.
There is a whole new level of accountability.

>>Clinton was plagued with the problem<<
He admitted to having used drugs as a college kid, not as a Governor.
A public official in appointed or elected office, is held to a totally different standard, than a 20 year old college kid.
I hope you realize the difference.

Good question. Did he snort anything in the Senate cloakroom? That line of questioning could get interesting.

>>I doubt people will care, but maybe they will.<<
A good chunk of registered independent voters, whom the Democrats need to win, will care. Partisan Democrats, as you may well be aware, will not care.
But it is the independent voters that count.

Because nobody would repeat or take seriously allegations of drug use that were published in the National
Enquirer.....DOH!

I wouldn't be surprised if a certain witness is wintering in Kenya. Just a guess. As to the presstitutes, this will be a campaign of frustration and disgust as they will ignore anything like this as to Ketchup, but will crucify W. Watch for Larry Flynt to be back in the news. *spit*
