President Bush headed to Fort Polk, Louisiana today to spend some time with our some of America's finest soldiers. The President spoke of the continued war on terror, and how America will not back down when faced with terrorism. Bush also spent the morning in Tampa, Florida where he participated in a meeting with small business owners. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura was at Bentonville High School, in Bentonville, Arkansas today to promote teaching. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Brit Hume carried the President's entry to the tune of 'Hail to the Chief' and thunderous applause. Funny, I love to hear that song now and I hated it a few years ago.

Great pix! The troops love their CIC.
What a beautiful flag we have. Hard to believe how some do not share the love of our country and our flag.

It was a real joy to hear President Bush's speech today and to see the troops applaud him. He said, "What a week! NASCAR and here!" Two days straight of positive feedbacks for him after all the dem poundings and accusations.

I listened to his speech as it was replayed on C_Span radio on the way home from work, I thought it was great. I heard all those troops screaming and yelling, I had to sneak a peek at the pics :-)

Great quote! I love how he presents reality (throws it into their faces) in just the nicest way, that no one can (should) criticize.

I missed the speech entirely because I didn't know when he was speaking! I looked on the C-span schedule, and they didn't have it on (surprise, surprise), but I printed it off the WH website, and plan to read it carefully.
I'm getting more and more confident in the outcome of November's election.
The President hasn't really started to campaign yet. When he does, Kerry (or whoever) won't have a prayer......literally!

Anyone know what the President and First Lady got each other for Valentine's Day? I think he usually gives her tulips . . .
