I do not misunderstand that graphic. It depicts the death of an underarmed American soldier. I just can't see humor in it.

"A thread about the D-Day landings or something like that and I'd agree with you."
Then we would defiantly be in agreement.

Here ya go. Feel better? Lighten up Francis.

Now that's funny!
Too bad you had to defend what was in obvious poor taste earlier.

I have no problems at all with Professional Engineer and his charcter. I just think he made 'small' mistake is all. I am not in anyway implying poor character. Please dont make this out to more then it is.
I don't think it's that big of an issue one way or another.
Thank you.

FR is not for your free advertising.
If your site is so hot, how come no one goes there on their own?
To: IGOTMINE
Poor taste as far as you are concerned. I understand that.
I was defending the comment made by another poster insinuating the poster of the smiley was disrespectful to our veterans. I disagreed with that comment.

Well, I'm not so good on tank ID. Are you sure that's not a post-war LEOPARD tank? And didn't the NATO member's Army use the Maltese cross for national markings?

It is in very poor taste and disrespectful of our service men. This is what you said that led to my response.
I am not in anyway implying poor character.
Thank you. I was coming to the defense of PE because it looked like you were questioning his character. I'm sure he didn't need me coming to his defense but I couldn't help myself. I don't think the posting of the graphic is a big issue either, I was concerned about the comment.

Nope. That is a Tiger I or Poohbah would have busted me in the chops. They even got the muzzle brake and the roadwheels right.

FreeRepublic censors posts! We have to clear out the sophomoric drivel somehow!
When you can present a lucid argument with proper grammar and spelling, come back. Until then, stay in school.

ROTFLMAO! Ok, which one of you goofballs put Acne Krakatoa as a keyword? I'll be laughing about that all day!
Come to think of it, that's a great band name...
To: IGOTMINE
In the context of this thread, it depicts the ZOT of an underarmed DU troll. Nothing more.

Too bad the underarmed troll is depicted as a US soldier.
Like I said earlier, you should run a graphic showing a daisy chain of artillery shells blowing up an entire column of US vehicles in Baghdad. If you find just one guy getting blasted by an 88 funny, that scene should leave you rolling.

"Never take a BAR to a tank fight" is what that is referring to.
I was in artillery, and apparently have a better sense of humor than you do.
AND no, there was no 'swastika', just the iron cross which is still used on military vehicles.
How about actually opening your eyes and looking at something before getting all worked up and indignantly self righteous?
That MIGHT help a little you know.
