"In fact, this is one of the key shortcomings of nominating Kerry -- he is a sitting duck in September in the Senate -- we are going to make him vote on making the tax cuts permanent, on judges, on defense appropriations, on a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage, etc.

Not really, all he will do is just skip the important votes like he's been doing all along. Just because taxpayers pay his salary doesn't mean he has to earn it, if he's a Dim.

I'm really, really surprised that Edwards is pulling this kind of support in Wisconsin. There's a strong anti-Southern bias here.

You might have noticed the local media was really pushing Edwards over the past few days. It seemed to me that every news story I heard on the radio over the past few days (I do not watch television) was all Edwards all the time. Hubby and I held our noses and voted for Dean. I was really hoping he'd outrun Slick Willie Jr.

Yelp! he's missed like 80% of the vote since the fall and the answer to my tag line is ZERO.

Really needs to be fired for not doing his job.

Think: DNC floor fight, followed by the disaffected turning to Ralph Nader.

Kerry is SUCH a lame, hypocritical joke. He presents no challenge to President Bush. Still, it is better to have him the nominee than Edwards. Edwards at least has the redeeming qualities of having worked for a living instead of marrying money (no matter what one thinks of his profession), and for not having gone negative on his primary opponents. Edwards would sell much better in the general than Kerry to independents. But, if the Dims want to scream from the bottom of the hole they dug, who are we to stop them?

You mean against Illinois?   ;-)

Plenty of country music stations in Wisconsin. Plenty of pickup trucks.

On Hardball they are making excuses for Sen. Gigolo already. Sounds like Edwards is doing good.

Yeah but Edwards is boring ....no skeletons in his closet....normal wife and kids.....doesn't live a "soap opera" life.....Dems would never go for that...they crave excitement! /sarc

Acting like the big drop for Dean never happened and this is the first time there's been a big swing in votes.

The media is such a bunch of fools.........glad they never learn!!!

CNN just showed a poll taken indicating that 70+% of Wisconsin voters changed their mind on Edwards in the last three days. !! And the talking head wondered why. Hasn't he heard the Kerry rumors?

Does it help that Edwards sent his wife to a fat farm (twice) and wouldn't let her be seen until she was slimmer? LOL! You are probably right; they certainly seem to be favoring the snoozers and weirdos this election cycle.

If Kerry continues to sink, he could lose Super Tuesday. Where does that put him? In deep trouble, imho.

Most of us could relate to the fat farm and maybe even twice.....that would be considered normal......Dems like the candidates like their hollyweird idols. ....They see life as one big romance novel/ "West Wing" style...... Most of the ones I know and in lah lah land....have little concept of reality....and think that Denial IS a river. Not to mention they have trouble balancing their check books cause they just had to have "whatever" to appear more glamorous. So they charge it on yeat another plastic card.....Their 7 & 8 yr ol kids dress like Britanny Speers...get pregnant early and they can't figure out why......? (It must be the teachers fault.) They drive the newest cars, live in the most ill kept homes and generally have no direction in their life.....They have plenty of time to sit in the local tavern....but can't get up for church on Sunday AM....Have plenty of money for cigarettes, and alcohol and then complain about medical expenses.

Sorry better end this rant.....you might say your "snoozers and weirdos" hit a nerve. IMO it's not just this election cycle. (can you tell?)
