We know the media shills for the democrats, but it's about time some one of the VERY FEW honest media get on this point and two others:
We want to know about those famous wounds that he takes credit for......(I'm not saying I would want them, but he is making big claims about his service) but we have a right to see the records.
All my friends had to spend 12 months in Nam....why did ketchup boy only serve 4 months and then come home and fight the war and call those poor guys without deferments baby killers and war criminals
I am telling you my friends, more is coming about what really happened in kerry's war experience, and it won't be a pretty thing to see.

"why did ketchup boy only serve 4 months"
because he got out 6 months early to run for Congress
Kerry recieved three purple hearts during the Vietnam war, each time he was injured. Granted, he saved a man once and his actions earned him a Silver Star. However, Kerry had grown tired of fighting and wanted to go back stateside. So, he lobbied his superior, Commodore Charles F. Horne. Even though Kerry would later boast that his injuries still allowed him to be among the "walking wounded," in April 1969, having engineered an early transfer out of the conflict because of his three minor wounds, John Kerry left his crew behind and returned home to a sweet assignment as an admiral's aide. Then he pulled strings with an anti-war protester who was a former RFK speech-writer, Adam Walinsky, and had Rear Admiral Walter F. Schlech, Jr. grant him an early discharge from service so he could run for Congress.

He spent about four months doing this, was slightly wounded three times, found out about a Navy custom of allowing any guy with three Purple Hearts to go home and get the assignment of his choiceI'd love to know the chronological order of these events.

As a Corpsman with the USMC, I did 13 months in Vietnam, returned to the U.S. for 12 month (to the day at Parris Island, SC for my 'shore duty'), and then returned to Vietnam for 13 more months.

On Jan. 3, 1970, Kerry requested that his superior, Rear Admiral Walter F. Schlech, Jr., grant him an early discharge so that he could run for Congress on an antiwar platform.
"I just said to the admiral: `I've got to get out. I've got to go do what I came back here to do, which is, end this thing,'" Kerry recalled, referring to the war. The request was approved, and Kerry was honorably discharged, which he said shaved six months from his commitment.

more is coming about what really happened in Kerry's war experience, and it won't be a pretty thing to see. There may be alot of ugly things to come out about Lurch, but I fear not enough voters will ever learn of them, thanks to the hateful, liberal America-destroying media.
I'm 57 years old and have been involved in politics since the Eisenhower days. I have never seen anywhere near as much concentrated hate, distortions and lies by the media on the part of one political party (the Dems.).
And today unfortunately, the media is 24-7, and the majority of the uninformed, lazy voters are subconsciously effected by it's relentless influence. And that media is protecting Kerry, much like they have protected Hillary all these years.
Now, if, as some have suggested, the Clintons have that plan to eventually destroy Kerry and slide 'Satan's Daughter' in at the last moment, then Kerry will be exposed. I can believe that scenario.
But if that isn't the plan, I doubt that nearly enough voters will ever learn of the REAL John F***in' Kerry!

You have to remember that since Kerry was the CO of that swift boat, he wrote the after action report.....embellishment?
It seems Kerry kept track of every scratch he recieved...

After the third scratch, he requested that he be transferred stateside citing that thrice wounded service men automatically got stateside transfers.

Yes, he was the only officer at the scene so he wrote himself up for the medal and was given it based on his own comments.

When Kerry's Patrol Craft Fast 94 received a B-40 rocket shot from shore, he hot dogged his craft beaching it in the center of the enemy position. Sounds pretty ballsy to me. Maybe a later wounding shot them off, which may explain his post-service attitudes.
To: kcvl
So, he lobbied his superior, Commodore Charles F. Tone down the spin. All he had to do was submit the paperwork.
