[history]
"For the last several days I have seen Internet and tabloid rumors relating to me and Senator John Kerry. Because these stories were false, I assumed the media would ignore them. It seems that efforts to peddle these lies continue, so I feel compelled to address them. I have never had a relationship with Senator Kerry, and the rumors in the press are completely false. Whoever is spreading these rumors and allegations does not know me, but should know the pain they have caused me and my family. I am in Kenya with my fiance visiting his family, and we ask that the press respect our privacy and leave all of us alone."

> We need to be careful here........this could be a set up to discredit the right.
I'm with you. Not a single Republican elected official should utter a peep. And FR should refrain from wild speculation.

Dan Rather tonight:
"In other news today, Alex Polier denied any relationship with John Kerry... Since you are watching me, you probably dont know anything about the story but it bodes well for my hero, John Kerry... I mean, Democrat nomination leader...*ehem*."

cover up.
To: Dog
I can see what you're inferring BUT I'm inclined to believe Hillary is the underlying force...and that applies to Kerry's.....John and Jane expo.

Limbaugh's raising a great point. The press is trumpeting a denial of a story they refused to report on.
Anyone else still think this rumor ain't true?

What's interesting is that now the media is covering her "denial" - they'll have to start covering the story. (Rush reading AP story)
It's most interesting is that these denials, letters and this one, are all in writing, is it not?
To: tomahawk
Yes..
Both parties are now on record denying a relationship.........unless someone has a tape of them having wild sex..........this story will die.
We need to focus on the Kerry record......not his bimbos.

They were sorry later (Mary Jo's parents). Apparently they received a huge check from the insurance company, after Ted sent the insurance company a huge check. It should be in the book Senatorial Privilege.
The parallels are pretty spooky, especially considering that the new JFK is junior in the Senate to Teddy.
Speaking as a father, I would not vote for a "Sleezebag," no matter how much I got from the conversion experience.

Please notice that BOTH Kerry and this woman are using the word RELATIONSHIP". Well, I hope someone tells her we know what the meaning of "is" is!
I hope she stays in Africa....I'm in no mood for another political mistress in my living room.

Or they're trying to save their little girl from worldwide infamy, like that of Lewinsky and Chandra."
What?
I dare say most people alive have heard of Alex Poltier!
The only confusion would be is she 24? or 27?
If they were trying to save their daughter from world wide infamy, guess what.

No they won't. They'll just report that the story has been denied by both parties and they will leave it at that.

Meanwhile, a Dem site is reporting that Howard Dean just fired his campaign chairman, Steve Grossman, after Grossman expressed a desire to "reach out" to Kerry. I guess when Dean says "You have the power" it doesn't include people who have been fired.

This whole story is stupid, and we should leave it alone. Kerry is unelectable for much more substantial reasons than this.
To: Dog
We need to focus on the Kerry record......not his bimbos. If people had focused on Clinton's bimbos, we wouldn't have to be living with Clinton's legacy.

Not only did it waste time and money, it cost lives. Because Clinton was unable to act with credibility, he could not strike when and where he wanted to. Not that he would have, but I'll give the benefit of the doubt.
Lewinsky affair was dangerous because it was such a huge distraction that HAD to be dealt with. It was a major concern for national security.
So, what have the Dems tried to do??
They have taken every opportunity to undermine the credibility of this President. From the moment the election was lost, they fought the war on credibility. From the minute Bush decided to act against terrorism, the Dems sought to undermine the credibility of this President abroad and at home. Now, with successful wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, a recovering economy, and an improving outlook, the Dems once again seek to undermine the credibility of the President.
Paying no attention to the other miseries that come with attempting to take a sitting President down, the Dems lie about the war on terror, lie about Iraq, lie about pre-war intelligence, lie about judicial appointments and continue to lie about the improving economy. They've attempted to damage the credibility of the President by calling into question his National Guard service. They've attempted to aid the enemy by painting the picture that John Kerry will be friendly with our enemies...as opposed to GWBush.
Make no mistake, this election, as will all future elections, will be about the CREDIBILITY of the Candidate. and what a dangerous precedent it is. Once you start questioning the credibility of a candidate, you tend to throw many other things under the bus.
The Dems attacks are damaging the economy, damaging our troops, hindering the democratic process in Iraq, damaging our foreign relationships, giving comfort to those who seek to destroy us, and causing further division within this country. They do so without inhibition...nor without true cause. The rest of the world be damned as long as the Dems win an election.
This is McAuliffe's strategy...and right now...it seems to be working. Sad sad sad...

I do not believe the democrats are the ones exposing these stories, therefore I do not see how you can blame the waste of time and resources on them. I am not defending the philanderers, alleged or otherwise, btw.

I agree.
