Statement from Mystery Woman in Kerry Affair Denying story

"For the last several days I have seen Internet and tabloid rumors relating to me and Senator John Kerry. Because these stories were false, I assumed the media would ignore them. It seems that efforts to peddle these lies continue, so I feel compelled to address them. I have never had a relationship with Senator Kerry, and the rumors in the press are completely false. Whoever is spreading these rumors and allegations does not know me, but should know the pain they have caused me and my family. I am in Kenya with my fiance visiting his family, and we ask that the press respect our privacy and leave all of us alone."

I was going to post that link for Solson, but I couldn't find it! Thanks. It substantially reveals how treacherous the Democrat Party leadership has become.

Drudge has just this minute posted a new headline which may indicate the "friend" who outed Kerry and the intern had been dating Kerry's campaign manager and thus would be in a position to know all.

Drudge's Headline:KERRY MYSTERY WOMAN DATED CAMPAIGN FINANCE CHIEF

Its hard to know exactly who Drudge means. Since I don't think Drudge has ever said the name of the women Kerry (supposedly) had the affair with, he could be calling her the MYSTERY WOMAN. And that she also has dated the Campaign Finance Chief.

This point was brought up by a caller on HANNITY last week.

The caller's point was that she went back and read many of Alex's stories and came to the collusion that her(Alex's) stories concerning Health care was Bias toward a GOV'T ran system, Akin to what Kerry is proposing.

"I never interned or worked for John Kerry."

Okay, but who's that two heads left of Kerry looking Polier-than-thou back in Spring 2002?

Peter Maroney, Kerry finance director.

Maroney honed his skills under fundraising whiz and Democratic Party boss Terry McAuliffe. His resume includes stints with House Minority Leader Richard Gephardt and Rep. Joe Kennedy.

"Her friends that have been talking will not stop talking, I suspect, as she has labeled them liars."

FWIW ... I agree.

South, I deal with college students every day and have for 18 years. Vietnam simply does not register. It doesn't register if it's Clinton's draft dodging, or Kerry's protesting, or Bush's National Guard service. Only people over 40 have any real "connection" to Vietnam, regardless of 9/11. I think it's a total waste of time, one way or the other, for either side to think they will gain an advantage on Vietnam.

["We appreciate the way Senator Kerry has handled the situation, and intend on voting for him for president of the United States."]

"Handled the situation"? All we know publicly is that he issued a denial. Or could it be that the definition of "handled the situation", in this case, means he payed them off handsomely?

Money doesn't have to be involved here. This series of events would make sense to me if my daughter had been hit on by, say, Bill Frist.

* Daughter comes home from a reporting assignment and tells me Frist hit on her relentlessly and "wants me to work for him".

* I get good and steamed.

* My daughter tells friends she got hit on relentlessly by Frist.

* A friend of hers who is a Democrat is outraged and wants to sabotage Frist and releases the info about Frist's sleaziness to whatever press will listen, most likely a tabloid.

* Another tabloid calls me, and in a lapse of better judgment, I tell them that yes, I am aware that Frist is a sleazeball, but I don't go further with it because that's all I've been told.

* Frist contacts me about the tabloid article and tells me he's truly sorry for his lapse in judgment but that he never actually violated my daughter, only hit on her and admits that was inappropriate. Asks me if I really want to cause a s--tstorm over this relatively minor infraction. My daughter asks me to join her in signing a clarification.

* I release a minor statement to the press.

The only part that strikes me as weird is that I would state I was voting for Frist after all of the above had happened. WTF is up with that?

You can try to "educate" people all you want, But I'm telling you it's like trying to get people worked up about the "sellout" of Chaing Kai Shek. As real an issue as it is to you, perhaps, it is NOT going to affect one smidgen of the voting public. Most of those who DO remember it want to forget it.

We've had six weeks of nonstop RAT Bush-bashing, then preposterous polls trumpeted on the nightly news by the lib. media that Dean or Kerry or Edwards (whatever dwarf of the moment), is leading Bush! Anyone with half a brain can see through this nonsense. It'd be funny if it weren't so dangerous. Kerry is congenitally incapable of telling the truth about anything, but the press never calls him on it. We'll get the same, sleazy, liberal spin until the cows come home. People at work don't think in global terms, frankly. It's bread and butter issues and wondering if we'll get blown up tomorrow. So I intend to mention the disappearing tax cuts(if Kerry or any other RAT gets in), to every parent of my acquaintance. And after that, we'll talk about how Kerry wants to treat terrorism as a simple law and order problem. Strengthen the UN, admit we're wrong about everything, crawl on our knees, raise our taxes, and we're all set. That ought to cook Kerry's goose.

The Sun was not the only source of the "sleazeball" quote. The Telegraph said it too.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2004/02/15/wus15.xml&sSheet=/portal/2004/02/15/ixportaltop.html

'I think he's a sleazeball. I did wonder if she didn't get that feeling herself," said Mr Polier. "He's not the sort of guy I'd choose to be with my daughter.'

This article has, as one of the co-authors, a reporter in Nairobi. I wouldn't exactly dismiss it yet as tabloid bull. From the contents of the story, a lot of people around Alex Polier in Nairobi are already talking.

I teach young people on a daily basis. 90% don't even know who Fonda is. They were born AFTER the 1980s "reinvention" of Fonda, and born 20 years after the END of Vietnam. It is as foreign to them as the inticacies of the "sellout" of China.
