[history]
It was only his 12th day as mayor of San Francisco, but Gavin Newsom decided that night -- the very night he attended President Bush's State of the Union address in Washington, D.C. -- that he was going to defy California law.
And turn the nation on its ear.

The slanted reporting is unbelievable.

...he was going to defy California law. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

"I feel the weight of history, in a way that I never felt before,' she said. "It is remarkable and profound.''
I don't like the current gun laws. Should I open a gun shop and start selling machine guns, without regard to background or age, to anyone with the cash? There was nothing historic, remarkable, or profound about what this guy did. He's an anarchist, and I hope that he pays the price for it.

He should do some serious jail time, as should all the degenerates who participated. Unfortunately, we live in times where the morally bankrupt shove perversity into every home (e.g. the superbowl half-time show)and get away with it. San Francisco is the Sodom and Gomorrah of our day.

I find the speed limit laws particularly galling -- why don't we all just plan to ignore them.

He should be arrested. States AG should do it.

He should be arrested.I said the same thing when the news broke, and O'Reilly reiterated my thoughts on his show that night. Unfortunately, his guest, a legal analyst, informed us that there is no legal provision for arresting the mayor in this situation. He had actually tried to find one before he came on the show, but to no avail.

And Newsom, a straight Irish Catholic man married for two years, was the perfect politician to take on the fight, she said. I wish these deviants would stop using the term Catholic when ever they feel like it, if you don't believe in the tenets of a faith you can't claim to belong to it.

It'll have to wait until a court orders the Mayor not to do it - then he can be arrested for contempt of court if he persists.

"He should be arrested. States AG should do it." Unfortunately, the State AG was among the conspirators.
They called the offices of Pelosi and U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein. They alerted Secretary of State Kevin Shelley, state Attorney General Bill Lockyer, the city's two gay supervisors, Tom Ammiano and Bevan Dufty, and national Democrat Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe.

We can only hope that when the last righteous person leaves San Francisco that God will do to it what he did to the last Sodom and Gomorrah.

That mayor has opened himself to huge personal liability.
To: MegaSilver
Californians should make a bold move and not pay their taxes.

That mayor has opened himself to huge personal liability. He's opened his whole PARTY up to a liability if they don't distance themselves from this nut.

Once again, Kalifornia needs to be booted out of the Union. And if you're a conservative living there - GET OUT. NOW.

I doubt Mexico would take back California in the condition it's in right now.
