WASHINGTON -- Massachusetts Sen. John F. Kerry, Vietnam War hero, is suddenly getting slammed as John F. Kerry, Vietnam War protester.

At a House Republicans retreat earlier this week, discussion of how to target the Democrats' apparent standard-bearer hinged not so much on examining his 19 years of Senate votes, but on his work against the Vietnam War.

whut the crap?

the picture of Kerry was found by FReeper hillary's lovely legs, during a thread on here.

and the other one is a hoax picture, made by a FReeper as well.

they should do their homework, or at least they could have asked me if nothing else.

They are afraid of the truth to come out.

Kerry is running on the "platform" that he is a war hero, not that he was an anti-war protester. Apparently most people don't know that he was not only a high profile protester, but he organized the Vietnam Veterans Against the War, testified in front of Congress, based on lies he knew were lies, wrote a book full of lies.

The Dems don't want people to know the truth, so they try to spin and deflect it.

Interesting that this author , who seems to disapprove of the GOP counter-offensive, would identify McCain (who is cool to the anti-Kerry op) as a Vietnam war POW, but not identify Sam Johnson (who is gung ho anti-Kerry, as he should be) as a Vietnam War POW.

The bias of the mainstream media is staggering. I think many millions have open eyes and are positively enraged by the media's blatant partisanship.

Question?

What is a Nam vet who has 5 purple hearts and a bronze star and is a real hero, who saved 9 fellow marines, and comes home from Nam and 5 years later kills 6 Asian girls walking the streets in LA?

1: War Hero
2: Serial Killer?

Kerry?

War hero turned on his fellow Veterans?

How is he still a hero?

Benedict Arnold was a "war hero with a distinguished service", until he betrayed us. Should he still be considered a hero?

Kerry betrayed his country by giving aid and comfort to the N. Vietnamese enemy with his protests, he is not much different from Benedict Arnold, why is he still considered a hero?

Also, every since he's been in the Senate, he voted against every weapons system, which helps the US be safe, he wanted to dismantle the CIA, and wants to put the UN in charge, selling out the sovereignity of the US.

How can he still be considered a hero?

Wouldn't it be something if the whitehouse ground keepers had recovered those medals and saved them for all of these years. Perhaps President Bush could hold them up during a debate and ask Kerry if he'd like them back!

They even dug out Bush's taffic tickets from 30 years ago -- apparently they consider that important, but Kerry protesting and giving aid and comfort to the enemy is not important.

Surely you know that Kerry was a hypocrite even then and actually throw someone else's medals over the fence, not his own. (This is a fact, which he admitted much later)

And yesterday, a new photograph of the senator and Fonda began circulating via e-mail, the Times said. Unlike the image Sampley purchased, this picture -- its origins are unclear -- shows them side by side, Fonda behind a microphone and Kerry, holding a notebook, to her right.

I'd like a copy of this new photo to e-mail around the net. Anyone seen it???

The picture with Kerry and Fonda side by side is a FAKE, created by someone for fun, then it made the rounds, and some people thought it was genuine.

I am sure they probably did stand side by side, after all they worked closely together, there may even be pictures around, but the one making the rounds is not authentic.

They weren't even his medals...He allowed all the protesters and the world think they were, but now he says they belonged to a vet that could not be there..He tossed his ribbons(he says) and later framed his medals and hung them in his Senate office.HYPOCRISY!

It's photoshopped. The two originals, separate pictures have been posted here. The one in color is real of him sitting behind Fonda.

She and he worked on the Winter Soldier (fraudulent) investigation.I believe they had contact in Detroit.I believe as they spoke at the same rally, they knew each other.
