They weren't even his medals...He allowed all the protesters and the world think they were,but now he says they belonged to a vet that could not be there..He tossed his ribbons(he says) and later framed his medals and hung them in his Senate office.HYPOCRISY!

Notice the revision to attempt to soften the facts - point out first his clarification that he threw his ribbons over the fence while ignoring his original claim that he had thrown his own medals. Of course he didn't but this is a new way for the media to sidestep the truth.
