Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., said the key to the public accepting reform is better enforcement.
A lot of people, Kyl said, "don't want to accept the fact that we're going to have to accept a lot of illegal immigrants in this country. They're going to do that, I think, reluctantly, grudgingly, perhaps, but I think they'll do it if they know we're committed to enforcing the law that's passed."
Mr. Kyl, why do I get the feeling you're just one more lousy politician selling out the American people for gain?
We will NOT except anymore from any Administration, politician, or traitor. Period. Get a clue. Impose a RICO penalty on employers hiring illegals, cut off taxpayer subsidies to those "low wages", cut out the Anchor babie program and they'll deport themselves.
It's really very simple. Do the above and there will not be a problem. Don't do the above and I'll vote you out of office. I pledge my vote, my time and my money to any candidate running on the above platform. I'll work against any politician saying otherwise.

If we can't or won't protect our borders all is lost. I do not like this serf worker program, it is shallow, and hollow and meaningless. It is a pander.
What about criminals, I mean violent criminals? Are we going to institutionalize two classes of workers?
Bush really screwed up on this one, BIG TIME! Back to the drawing board, come up with a real plan.
I DO NOT want to live in an Hispanic nation, I'm sorry I just don't. And I won't. My grandmother was born in Northern Ireland and I will decamp if 1. Hillary is elected and/or 2. we decide there is no alternative to becoming Northern Mexico.

I agree with you. No one has to necessarily deport every single illegal one by one. If you go after the businesses that aid and abet sp? then there will be no incentive to come here illegally.

"Hundreds are dying on the border as they are trying to get across because they want to feed themselves and their families," said McCain, R-Ariz. "What's stopping them from feeding their families in Latin America? I haven't seen any reports of mass starvation or food shortages.
The $1500 to $6000 they're paying coyotes would buy plenty of tortillas and beans.
First we were going to starve without immigrant agricultural labor, now they're going to starve if we don't let them in.
I'm sick of hearing this handwringing B.S.

Cut the illegal welfare benefits and close the borders first, Kyl. Then we'll talk about what to do with the ones already here.

Thank you for pointing out that we are the ones who will decide what we will accept and what we won't. Kyle's brother Walter has undertaken his own campaign to inform everyone that the Jon only serves his own interests.
Dissolving the Immigration Courts, rounding up illegals with local law enforcement, housing in mothballed facilities, transport by vans and buses seized for interstate trafficking, redeployment of troops returned from Germany and South Korea as non-combative backup for Homeland Security: it's ALL DOABLE! Just starting some of these measures will find most of the worst types deporting themselves (it happened before Ike's action).

Why is legalizing illegality good for the economy? Can somebody run that by again?

I need someone who has the patience to edit the following letter I intend to include in about 15 republican mailings requesting donations. My problem is that it's too long. I'm not easily offended, so be ruthless.
To Whom It May Concern:
I believe President George W. Bush to be one of the greatest presidents in our history. I could fill several pages with a list of his accomplishments. His most important accomplishment has been his actions in the war on terrorism, and I have no doubt that his actions have prevented further attacks to date against our country and have set the stage to discourage future attacks.
Yet there is another invasion taking place in our great country. We are being invaded from within and this invasion is being encouraged by our politicians and the current administration. Our country is a nation of immigrants, but unlike the immigrants of yesteryear, today?s immigrants are coming here in vast numbers and are no longer encouraged to assimilate into our society. The INS is so overwhelmed that it can not keep tract of the millions of immigrants on their dockets.
This is compounded by the illegal immigrants who cross our borders with impunity. Once here, they do not limit themselves to ?taking the jobs that Americans won?t do?, the myth that is propagated by the liberal media. Hundreds of thousands take advantage of taxpayer funded benefits, and yet most illegals pay no taxes (that a majority of them pay taxes is yet another myth). California?s deficit can be attributed to the vast number of illegals who are attending our schools, bankrupting our hospitals, drawing welfare, and taking advantage of all the programs they are not entitled to.
President Bush?s immigrant worker plan would be a disaster for American workers, and amounts to nothing more than an amnesty no matter what title it is given. His plan would not only encourage more illegals to flood our borders, but would also give citizenship status to any ?anchor babies? that are born while the workers are here on a visa.
More importantly, this plan would force American workers to compete with third-world country wage earners and would drastically lower our standard of living. This is an invitation for employers to cut the wages they pay to everyone from agricultural laborers to hi-tech positions.
Why make more laws when the old laws have not been enforced? A better solution would be to encourage illegals to deport themselves by targeting all employers of illegals, thus making the illegals less welcome.
Until the administration changes its position on the illegal immigrant issue, I will not support them financially. I am not a big contributor anyway, so maybe you won?t mind. But I can tell you that there is a groundswell against illegal immigrants among conservatives, and if you multiply my lack of donation by hundreds of thousands, it could put a very big dent in your budget.
I do not take this action lightly, but faxes and emails seem to have no effect in my voice being heard. I am hoping that this will help someone get the message.
Respectfully,

You would want to live in a Hispanic nation if Hispania had something to offer to improve your life and its purpose. Unfortunately it doesn't.
If Hillary is elected then you failed to define the danger of her polarizing influence to enough of your fellow Americans. You must in any case work to remove her from office, neutralize her initiatives and defeat her reelection efforts. If you love America this is your duty.
There is always an alternative to allowing Mexicans to displace American culture and society on American soil. You must challenge them directly yet diplomatically by asking them of their allegiances. Do not berate them but ask them if they respect U.S. law and private property. Point out their contradictions.

Yes they will leave (deport themselves) if what you outline is adopted. I might add one thing, set a tariff on small money wires from the USA to Mexico. These wire transfers are used to enable subsequent groups of border jumpers including women ready to give birth.

Tariff on wires? And cut into Vicente's action? Bad enough Wells Fargo, Bank of America and others are cutting into it.

Why is legalizing illegality good for the economy? We legalize illegality all the time. We legalized alcohol after prohibition, driving above 55 mph on most freeways, abortion, interacial marriage, etc.

set a tariff on small money wires from the USA to Mexico. Won't work because, as the communists found out, stopping free market forces is next to impossible. In this case, a middle man will bundle small wires into a big wire and charge a fee for doing it. You can add more rules to stop this, then the free market will find a way around your rules, and you can add more rules, etc. but in the end, the free market will whip your butt. It always has and always will. The good news is that Hillary and her socialists will never succeed in what they would like to do to you and me because the free market will kill their aspirations too.
