John Kerry to strike back at "infidelity"-coverage, will appear on Imus-Show
Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry is set to strike back at the "infidelity"-coverage by "Drudge Report" joining Don Imus on his Friday morning talk show.
"Drudge Report" had first broken the news of intense US media investigation into the two-year relationship of Kerry and a young woman, which is said they had since Spring 2001. The woman is said to remain at an undisclosed location in Africa.

If Fox jumps on this now, the left will start screaming VRWC !...which gives the mainstream press an excuse to ignore it and THAT is what they really want.
If nothing breaks mainstream, FOX will then jump in, but Ailes may want the mainstream to indict their own boy since it will have increased credence, imho.
The non-denial denial on friendly Imus was calculated to make people think he denied it and encouraging them to drop the story.

Non-denial denial
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Non-denial denial is a term used to describe an apparent denial that, though it appeared clearcut and unambiguous when heard, on examination turns out to be ambiguous and not a denial at all. The phrase is particularly associated with politics and means in effect "something made to sound like a denial without actually being one."

"MSNBC is a house organ (and servicing department) for Demo presidential nominees. And people wonder why the President's approval ratings are in the tank."
You give MSNBC too much credit. Have you seen their ratings lately? They would kill to have just 500,000 people watch one of their shows.......no one watches MSNBC.

Is this story over?....Kerry denies it on Imus so that's it?.... No, that's not all there is. The story is in the process of unfolding. Some parts of the process are predictable. The media will carry DEM water, in whatever way they deem is most effective.

Appallingly poor interview. Really just a platform to issue a denial.

Do you have a telephone number for any of these people? If you don't want to post it on the open forum, post it to "Private Reply". I will get the information to someone who will investigate it.

I'm impressed with your loyalty to IMUS . . . I'm impressed with his style. He's looking at this in terms of "in due course." He gave Kerry some rope, now it's up to f'n to see what he does with it when and if more comes out. Imus' ramblings over the last few minutes about Drudge and other things is just to put Kerry on notice. Stay tuned.

Kerry's first unchallenged lie was that he has no idea why Viet Nam has become an issue. For months he couldn't belch without mentioning his Viet Nan "service".

That won't cut any mustard in the court of Imus.

Voter 537 is right. We should concentrate on informing the public about Kerry's slander of our troops, basically equating them to Uday and Qusay. That's factual; we have the transcript of Kerry's sworn testimony to back us up.
Let the Deniacs chase the sex rumors.

Just got on this thread after hearing the IMUS/KERRY kissup......you were exactly right. IMUS sprinkled holy water on Kerry and announced that he was supporting him instead of George Bush.

There is no court of Imus. The guy barely has ratings.
