CAMPAIGN DRAMA ROCKS DEMOCRATS - Thread 1

CAMPAIGN DRAMA ROCKS DEMOCRATS: KERRY FIGHTS OFF MEDIA PROBE OF RECENT ALLEGED INFIDELITY, RIVALS PREDICT RUIN

**World Exclusive** **Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**

A frantic behind-the-scenes drama is unfolding around Sen. John Kerry and his quest to lockup the Democratic nomination for president, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

Intrigue surrounds a woman who recently fled the country, reportedly at the prodding of Kerry, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

A serious investigation of the woman and the nature of her relationship with Sen. John Kerry has been underway at TIME magazine, ABC NEWS, the WASHINGTON POST, THE HILL and the ASSOCIATED PRESS, where the woman in question once worked.

MORE

A close friend of the woman first approached a reporter late last year claiming fantastic stories -- stories that now threaten to turn the race for the presidency on its head!

In an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, General Wesley Clark plainly stated: "Kerry will implode over an intern issue." [Three reporters in attendance confirm Clark made the startling comments.]

The Kerry commotion is why Howard Dean has turned increasingly aggressive against Kerry in recent days, and is the key reason why Dean reversed his decision to drop out of the race after Wisconsin, top campaign sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

Think of the worst, the most outrageous, the most diabolical conspiracy theory you can think of, and that's pretty close to what the Clintons are up to.

Exactly. Hillary would sell *anyone* out to get what she wants, ultimately. And I think we all know what that is. If she ever gets it, God help us all.

And I'm glad you did. They are drinking koolaid over at the other site. The rats are freaking. And the silence is deafening from Kerry's people. I can't wait to watch the talking heads who cheerlead for the rats on television tonight.

"Geez, just one look at Kerry and the LAST thing on my mind is sex!!! This girl, excuse me... alleged girl must either be blind or just dumb. Oh, wait....they did say she was blond right?"

I think the same thing every time I look at him. But then again, we had a hard time understanding what any woman could see in Bill.

Re: Best of the Web

Good Find!

Did you see the comment on Kerry's memo recently printed in the Tehran Times? In my book, that email is Kerry's greatest sin to date.

Kerry is almost certainly innocent of trying to make nice to the mad mullahs who run Iran. Still, it's telling that the mullahs' supporters would construe a Kerry press release as propaganda in their favor. At a time when America is under attack by murderous Islamist terrorists, we would feel a lot more secure if, as during the early days of the Cold War, politics still stopped at the water's edge.

Funny how long it takes the press to "investigate" a fellow democrat. How would this have been covered if the story was about Bush?

Nothing on Fox about this. John Gibson just observed that Howard Dean has been getting more critical of Kerry's campaign and asked the guest if Kerry should be looking back at Dean or forward to Bush.

Not one breath of the vulnerabiity of Kerry from FOX that I hear. Yet.

I don't think they can. If a married man has an affair he is disrespecting his wife. If a married man running for president has an affair he is an idiot. Now, I've heard plenty of Kerry supporters go on and on about how Dean's straight talk isn't "presidential". Well, what is "presidential" about cheating on your wife in the middle of a run for the highest elected office in the freaking country? If a person can't keep control of their own penis, how on earth can they be trusted to keep control of an entire country? The presidency is about judgement, and having GOOD judegement. If this story is true, then Kerry is serioiusly lacking the ability to make good judgements. He has rarely gotten a vote right in how many years now? And women...if Kerry can't be trusted to respect his own wife, who he supposedly loves, how can we trust him to respect women in general? This isn't a story about some affair a decade ago. This is a story about an affair during THIS RACE! What on earth was he thinking? Better yet...was he thinking at all?
Now before anyone says a candidate's sexual behavior doesn't matter, I'll remind you that there was a very loud riot on here about Arnold's groping and gang bangs and if this story were about Bush there would be widespread outrage. If this story is true, Kerry is finished. No one wants to go through another controversial Democratic presidency where the Commander in Chief can't be trusted to keep his pants on in the presence of female interns.

Heheheheheheh. Sounds like a future Republican to me!

I think Dean is smelling blood in the water and probably has Kerry in his cross hairs. He may think that if he can get Kerry out of the way, he can get back in

Which reminds me - where is the LA Times? They broke Arnold's story right before the recall election. Surely they have some of this info? Oh right, Kerry has a D after his name.

The LA Times said the late release of the story was because it took so long to verify the facts.

Right !!

"To be perfectly honest, I lived in Montgomery, Alabama in 1972 and I never once saw Lt. Bush. He didn't visit my high school, I didn't run into him at the mall, and he never once attended our church. Hmmmmm?"

Please forward your dental records to FR so that we can verify your story.
