A frantic behind-the-scenes drama is unfolding around Sen. John Kerry and his quest to lockup the Democratic nomination for president, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

Intrigue surrounds a woman who recently fled the country, reportedly at the prodding of Kerry, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

A serious investigation of the woman and the nature of her relationship with Sen. John Kerry has been underway at TIME magazine, ABC NEWS, the WASHINGTON POST and the ASSOCIATED PRESS, where the woman in question once worked.

A close friend of the woman first approached a reporter late last year claiming fantastic stories -- stories that now threaten to turn the race for the presidency on its head!

In an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, General Wesley Clark plainly stated: "Kerry will implode over an intern issue." [Three reporters in attendance confirm Clark made the startling comments.]

The Kerry commotion is why Howard Dean has turned increasingly aggressive against Kerry in recent days, and is the key reason why Dean reversed his decision not to drop out of the race after Wisconsin, top campaign sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

I hope you're right. Ever since CLinton was President, I've felt that this country was dividing into two camps, that a war was being engaged over our culture. I never used to think much about the devil, but now I really do believe that Satan is real and that he preys upon us and that he is bringing our culture down. Cahtolics (like me) don;t talk much about the Apocalypse, but it is an article of our faith that the world will end eventually. Any other Christians (or Jews) out there who agree with me that the Apocalyptic Age has begun? I sincerely would like to read freepers' views about this.

I was reading about this on another site and someone mentioned that Kerry had had prostate surgery recently, and that this surgery cause impotence. Does anyone know when he got this surgery and does it really cause impotence and if so, how long does it last?

It CAN cause impotence........yes, it's permanent. No, it doesn't happen all the time, but it's a known risk of such surgery. No, I haven't had it..........thank God.

Apparently the story is at least four years old according to Drudge. Gore knew about and his shyed away from making Kerry his running mate based on this.

Well there ya go. IF all this is true it shows Kerry to be disloyal, undisciplined, sneaky, impulsive and self-destructive. It's not about the sex, it is about his character. However I truly think that some Democrats are shallow when thinking what infidelity says about a person. They think it's just about sex. So it would not surprise me if they prop him up and vote for him in droves. And let's all hope that the girlfriend who went to the press is NOT a Republican or this going to be blamed on the RNC or Bush.

If the affair has been over for four years, forget it. It means nothing. I really do not think that very many Democrats care about it even if it was yesterday. I would not put it past the plenty of Democrats to vote for a man who intended to openly live with a mistress in the White House. They would probably like it.
