We’re going to need a thread II as this one is starting to slow the site down. Also, on the new thread, please stop posting the name and pictures of the person you think the woman may be. The evidence doesn’t support the claim and we don’t need to be doing that. Wait for it to come out. It will. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1076893/posts

Update 2:
CAMPAIGN DRAMA ROCKS DEMOCRATS: KERRY FIGHTS OFF MEDIA PROBE OF RECENT ALLEGED INFIDELITY, RIVALS PREDICT RUIN
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**
A frantic behind-the-scenes drama is unfolding around Sen. John Kerry and his quest to lockup the Democratic nomination for president, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
Intrigue surrounds a woman who recently fled the country, reportedly at the prodding of Kerry, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
A serious investigation of the woman and the nature of her relationship with Sen. John Kerry has been underway at TIME magazine, ABC NEWS, the WASHINGTON POST and the ASSOCIATED PRESS, where the woman in question once worked.
MORE
A close friend of the woman first approached a reporter late last year claiming fantastic stories -- stories that now threaten to turn the race for the presidency on its head!
In an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, General Wesley Clark plainly stated: "Kerry will implode over an intern issue." [Three reporters in attendance confirm Clark made the startling comments.]
The Kerry commotion is why Howard Dean has turned increasingly aggressive against Kerry in recent days, and is the key reason why Dean reversed his decision not to drop out of the race after Wisconsin, top campaign sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.
Update 3 FROM CONRESSIONAL QUARTERLY'S CRAIG CRAWFORD: 'Drudge item on Kerry intern issue is something Chris Lehane (clark press secy) has shopped around for a long time -- it was one reason the Gore vetters in 2000 shied away from Kerry as a running mate choice -- their conclusion that it wasn't bad enough to disqualify him, except for the fact that they couldn't risk it as they were trying so hard to distance themselves from Clinton's personal failings (note: Lehane worked for Gore at the time -- and briefly advised Kerry during this campaign). The Kerry camp has long expected to deal with this, and have assured party leaders they can handle it'...

I have O' Reilly on talk radio in one ear and Rush on talk radio in the other. So far O' Reilly hasn't brought up Kerry's alleged adultery.

We all know who's behind this, but will Kerry's team try to blame Rove? Actually, I'm kind of expecting the CNNABCNBCCBS crowd to snidely "suggest" that the leak was the doings of the Republicans. No proof will they offer, of course, just the "suggestion".

I'm sitting here thinking that if this were Bush, the cables would have been all over this, sourced or not, two hours ago. Agree but I'm not surprised that Foxnews is remaining silent. Sean intimated he had knowledge of dirt on Kerry a few weeks ago so they're probably dotting "i's" and crossing "t's" before sharing it.
To: finnman69
I saw that. Like a military dentist would remember some nobody (at that time) getting his teeth cleaned 30 years ago. Sheesh.

Interesting. If true -- as is being alleged today on the web and by Limbaugh, that Kerry 'prodded' the suspect woman to 'flee' the territorial USA because of this scandal, it is a better than 50% chance that she did not want to do that, in which case, it is also a better than 50% chance that Kerry would have funneled funds to her or otherwise flipped for the cost of the air evacuation to get her overseas. In that case, it could well have legal ramifications; it sure would seal his fate for good.
Let's keep watching this. If the woman is overseas, let's get some reporters to find out what safe house she is in and scoop the story even deeper.
If we know which country she is in, if in fact she is overseas, then the FOREIGN PRESS in that country, particuarly tabloids, could be pressed into service to REALLY dig out the story....much more aggressively than the domestic US liberal press who will sit on their big, fat asses because Kerry does not have a (R) after his name.

"1) HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THE LAMESTREAM MEDIA TO ANNOUNCE THIS NEWS?"
AP has. The Lamo's will start at 4 p.m today.
"2) HOW MANY SECONDS WILL THE BIG 3 GIVE THIS TONIGHT?"
ZERO. Unless Kerry says something.
"3) HOW LONG WILL PETA JENNINGS SCOWL OR SMIRK AFTER READING THIS STORY?"
Who cares.
"4) WHO WILL BE THE FIRST REPORTER TO APOLIGIZE ABOUT ASKING KERRY ABOUT THIS AND THEN INTERUPT HIM BEFORE HE ANSWERS AND SAYS HE'S SORRY FOR BRINGING SUCH GARBAGE."
Wolf **itzer.

O'Reilly won't. I think he's been positioning himself to back Kerry.
Fox Cable getting ready to do a story on how much influence Kennedy has on the Kerry campaign. (Ha!)

The radio report of this same story said the dentist didn't remember him specifically "but that doesn't mean I didn't have him in my office". Interesting how they drop the wording they don't want to push.

Well, that clears up Rush's mention of NE. I have two stations on and I'm hearing as best as I can.

So far O' Reilly hasn't brought up Kerry's alleged adultery. He's probably too focused on selling his book.

If that is KRISTIN in that photograph, her last name starts with "M". It is visible on her "Hi, my name is Kristin M________ lapel sticker.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they can jump into the race this late in the game Isn't Hillary's name on the Democratic Presidential 2004 roster? I recall seeing it somewhere and do not know if she inserted herself or had someone do it for her.
