We’re going to need a thread II as this one is starting to slow the site down. Also, on the new thread, please stop posting the name and pictures of the person you think the woman may be. The evidence doesn’t support the claim and we don’t need to be doing that. Wait for it to come out. It will. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1076893/posts

Update 2:
CAMPAIGN DRAMA ROCKS DEMOCRATS: KERRY FIGHTS OFF MEDIA PROBE OF RECENT ALLEGED INFIDELITY, RIVALS PREDICT RUIN
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**
A frantic behind-the-scenes drama is unfolding around Sen. John Kerry and his quest to lockup the Democratic nomination for president, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
Intrigue surrounds a woman who recently fled the country, reportedly at the prodding of Kerry, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
A serious investigation of the woman and the nature of her relationship with Sen. John Kerry has been underway at TIME magazine, ABC NEWS, the WASHINGTON POST and the ASSOCIATED PRESS, where the woman in question once worked.
MORE
A close friend of the woman first approached a reporter late last year claiming fantastic stories -- stories that now threaten to turn the race for the presidency on its head!
In an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, General Wesley Clark plainly stated: "Kerry will implode over an intern issue." [Three reporters in attendance confirm Clark made the startling comments.]
The Kerry commotion is why Howard Dean has turned increasingly aggressive against Kerry in recent days, and is the key reason why Dean reversed his decision not to drop out of the race after Wisconsin, top campaign sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.
Update 3 FROM CONRESSIONAL QUARTERLY'S CRAIG CRAWFORD: 'Drudge item on Kerry intern issue is something Chris Lehane (clark press secy) has shopped around for a long time -- it was one reason the Gore vetters in 2000 shied away from Kerry as a running mate choice -- their conclusion that it wasn't bad enough to disqualify him, except for the fact that they couldn't risk it as they were trying so hard to distance themselves from Clinton's personal failings (note: Lehane worked for Gore at the time -- and briefly advised Kerry during this campaign). The Kerry camp has long expected to deal with this, and have assured party leaders they can handle it'...

Clark would have done so before dropping out, before TN, before VA. Why? Clark had no chance. This wasn't done to benefit Clark. It was done to hurt Kerry.

THE Washington Post today, February 12, 2004, actually said
"This is the first we are looking into him this way."
OMG........any questions?

Mark my words, DEAN is going to ROLLIt probably will fire up Dean's few remaining supporters, but I'd predict there is absolutely no way it will result in him getting the nomination.
The overwhelming majority of Dems have concluded that he is not presidential material and would get hammered by W.
If Kerry stumbles look for Edwards, Hillary or someone else to jump in. There will be no second act for Dean.

This is a Hillary show all the way.

The Scottish Press has picked up the story:
------------------------------
Mystery of Kerry and the Intern
By Mark Sage, PA News, in New York
Allegations against Vietnam war hero John Kerry today threatened his runaway presidential campaign.
Right-wing news web site The Drudge Report â which broke the Monica Lewinsky scandal â claimed a woman close to Senator Kerry recently left America at his behest.
It also reported that his former rival for the Democratic nomination, General Wesley Clark, told reporters in an off-the-record conversation last week: âKerry will implode over an intern issue.â
Internet columnist Matt Drudge said three reporters could confirm the comments by former Nato Supreme Allied Commander Clark, who quit the race for the partyâs nomination yesterday amid poor results.
He also claimed that Time magazine, ABC News, Washington Post and Associated Press â where the woman in question was said to have once worked â had been investigating her relationship with Kerry for several days.
Decorated Vietnam veteran Kerry is married to Theresa Heinz Kerry, the wealthy heiress to the food empire.
Drudge claimed a close friend of the mystery woman approached a reporter late last year claiming âfantastic storiesâ.
He also suggested that behind-the-scenes panic in the Kerry camp was prompting former campaign front-runner, former Vermont Governor Howard Dean, to increase his attacks on Kerry in the last few days.
Drudge said that explained why Dean decided to reverse his decision to drop out of the race if he failed to win the Wisconsin primary on February 17.
Senator Kerry, from Massachusetts, is currently the runaway favourite to win the Democratic ticket to run against President George Bush in November.
He has won 12 of the 14 state primaries and caucuses held so far.
Kerry was born on December 11, 1943 in Denver, Colorado. He has two children from his first marriage, and three step-children with his current wife.
A Kerry campaign spokesman had no immediate comment in response to the claims.

Kerry obviously has no respect for women. I may be wrong, but given how Kerry treated his first wife, his sleazy womanizing reputation and the fact that Thresa's money has provided Kerry a greater lifestyle of the rich and famous, he is an arrogant dog.
We may see more women than Clinton had half-brothers and sisters!

But yet, his association with Jane Fonda in the Vietnam era makes him a hero? It was people like him who contributed to the political war. It was the actions of people like Kerry who contributed to the deaths of tens of thousands of American citizens, and the feeling of hate so many had for the American Soldier at that time.
He has had too much steam as of late, too many good poll results to get me to think that any of it matters to the average democrat voter.
To: Hatteras
All this talk about Hillary in 2008 is crap. She won't get by Rudy in 2006. Then the hag is done.

What if the story is planted That has crossed my mind. Maybe the Kerry camp is smoking out a mole. If this story is shown to be completly bogus within 24 hours than this will take Drudge out of this election cycle, paint Kerry as the victim of a probable 'pub smear, and vaccinate him against the next real scandal.

The end of the thread (but I did skip one section). This is not on TV yet. Democrats are bad news and I'm sick of the whole lot of them prancing around the country, bashing Bush. What a bunch of elitist bores.

Fascinating:
The Boston Herald, Sept 2, 1998 p008 Job seeker is model constituent Gayle Fee; Laura Raposa
Question of the day: Who was the statuesque blonde strutting out of Sen. John Kerry's palatial Louisburg Square manse late Monday night when Kerry's wife, heiress Teresa Heinz, was on Nantucket?
We are told she is a 22-year-old Harvard student and former model who, Kerry's people claim, was dropping off a resume.
Our spies on the Square say the stunning Southern gal, dressed in oh-so-chic black, arrived at Kerry's townhouse around 11:15 p.m. and left just before the clock struck 12.
Not unlike Cinderella.
Which leads us to ask: In the age of Monica Lewinsky, is it smart for a senator with presidential aspirations to be entertaining attractive women when the wife is away?
"He was very kind to me. He offered to pass my resume along," the young woman told the Track.
[...]Both the young woman and Kerry's people insist the encounter was completely innocent. They said the senator met her on Nantucket earlier this summer, then again last weekend.
She supposedly mentioned she was looking for a job and he told her to drop off a resume.
