Boston Globe knew all along about this letter, but chose to pretend they did not and wanted Kerry to clarify his position. (like they didn't already know!)

ROFLOL!!! I would certainly agree with that! I am glad they have decided though that Kerry is their man! Now if they would put Hillary on the ticket, we could demolish them in total. I think anyone even leaning Republican would come out to vote against Hillary.
Jim would have so many hits on here during the election, he would probably have to get a larger server if she ran as the VP.

Thanks for adding those votes. RNC has a ton of older articles on Kerry. This election is getting more fun!

"John favors civil unions, not gay marriage. It's that simple," he said. Civil unions are homosexual "marriage." A turd by any other name would smell as foul.

Looks like he has the nomination sewed up and there is no stopping him. I heard Rush's show today where CNN anchors were going nuts in supporting Kerry. Funniest was their contention that Kerry was doing great winning in the South. As Rush said, this was a DemocRAT primary!
This information won't make it on the Cable News Shows because about 95% of the shows are pushing Kerry as the savior of the RATs.
As Rush said, they are in for a shock the day after the election.

We need more pictures of and statements by Kerry when he was Dukakis' Lt. Governor. The only one I have seen is here on FR. I'll post it to cheer you up.- Tom

He's lying about things which are documented otherwise! I don't get it. Surely he knows better --- has a memory --

We are all in trouble if the USA can not find better men than this to run for President. This looks like "rich trailer trash" to me.

Well maybe he has hubris, and doesn't care, or maybe he plans to explain the subtle differences in one versus the other in a Clintonian way. Clearly the voters know he is just bending to the prevailing winds on an issue now salient. Swing voters will tolerate that up to a point, particuarly on this kind of issue. Still it hurts him. He should have explained up front why although he did "x," he is now doing "y." Policitians that are proactively prophylactic do better than those that wait to be caught out by the media. The Bush DUI comes to mind in that regard. That incident along with misspeak about social secuirty at the end (something about not being a federal entitlement program, or something incredibly dumb along those lines), almost cost him the election. Bush dropped a couple of percentage points over it.
