I have noticed this as well. They talk very rapidly, like trying to spew out the talking points as quickly as possible.

Agreed. It's a strategy of creating doubt on the very issue that destroyed Clinton: Integrity. Character is something their man didn't have (and neither do any of their leading candidates), so they must try to bring the character of W into question. It's a common ploy of lib/dems to bring everything to their lowest common denominator.

They're doing it here too. Their big kickoff was yesterday. I counted over 15 newbies posting vanities and other irrelevancies.
Heheheh.

I guess it's cheaper and easier to call in to right-wing shows and spew your idiocy, than it is to put on your own left-wing show and actually have to defend your ideas.

I think it has already started hot and heavy, (even here) This election is going to make the days of A+Bert et al look like childs play.

Just listen a few minutes to CSPAN each morning and you'll notice the preponderance of so-called "fed up" Republicans switching to Kerry. Yeah, right.
The rats are desperate.

Sadly they are getting lots of help from our very own 'conservative' talk show hosts.

Rush cuts the idiots off at the pass.
Hannity can smell them.
I suppose we'd better start doing a little calling ourselves. We have so much trash on the lying Democrats, it would be a piece of cake.

Down here in South Florida, Schnitt commented that there were a number of people calling to complain about Bush's Guard record but wouldn't hold long enough to actually get on.

I listen to a lot of talk radio programs also and yes I see this happening.
I think I like to listen to Michael Medved though because he invites the opposition, and then he is able to squash them like a bug with his knowledge and cool manner of speech.

Those of you who listen to talk radio have been hearing it more and more. The conversation might start out with, "I voted for George Bush, but....." or "I tend to be conservative, but....." or "I am a moderate and vote the man not the party, but....." Trust me. As a person who listens to talk radio between 10-18 hours a day and who has made over 2,000 calls to talk radio shows, my observations are usually correct. When you hear those words, you will know that a RAT seminar caller is calling in to attack President Bush.
Heck, Doug...they're not only on talk radio nowadays...THEY'RE ALL OVER FREE REPUBLIC TOO. SOME HAVE EVEN BEEN registered for several months!

You will love this.
Yesterday a caller to Sean Hannity identified himself as a member of the Green party but that he was also "conservative".

I'm not worried about up-front liberals who want to argue. It's the deceptive ones who are posing as conservatives. It's the "Moby" contingent that has been spotted on FR.
For those who don't know, the pop star Moby apparently boasted a few days ago about how he and other leftists were involved in a movement to call in/write in to conservative sites and pretend to be conservatives attacking George Bush.
While there are certainly things on which various conservatives might disagree with Bush, however, these folks are not interested in disagreeing or changing things by arguing: Their last line is always, "...but I won't be voting for Bush,"or "I'll vote for any Dem over somebody who is not a TRUE conservative."
Be very, very careful, folks. JR is aware of this and is doing is best to nab them, but there are a lot of them out there, trolling away.
Moby spotters should be up in the rigging right now, looking for the plume...
