Look closely at the photos - just below Colin Powell, and to the right of Al Sharpton, you will see one of the hundreds of "anti-war" rally posters that had been plastered to lightboxes throughout the city.
The photo had been taken after the DC Chapter's stealth "Truth in Advertising Team" had made their rounds one evening.
The team of four, led by a former military PsyOp expert, made several late-night missions onto the mean streets of DC to place the stickers. We would go out one night and hit all the boxes around Union Station, the Capitol, Supreme Court, and even International ANSWER HQ, only to find our stickers pulled off the next night; so, out we'd go again - more determined to spread the truth about who was aiding the "anti-war" movement.
We widened our area of operation to include posters placed on 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th Streets, H Street (along Lafayette Park), K Street, North Capitol Street. We could tell, as the week wore on, that we were really rankling the lefties, because they were tearing the heck out of their own posters in an effort to remove our expertly affixed disclaimers!
We had covered so many of their posters that they were unable to keep up with us. There were several areas where our stickers were never removed.
One night as two of our team worked along K Street, we passed two lefties going in the opposite direction who were carrying a bucket of paste and flyers. We went back to that area later, to "further elaborate" on their messages.

Posting on illegally placed posters has to be legal.

Thanks, Angelwood. I made it through a whole day without having to open another box of Puffs Plus, so I must be getting better.

There are legal ways to put posters up on light boxes in D.C. I don't think the A.N.S.W.E.R. volunteers abided by them though. Their last round of posters in October were taken down as soon as they went up. We had nothing to do with that. I suspect the D.C. government took them down for not following the rules.

It was a team of
girls (I guess there are some girls who are mercenary, but that's a debate for another day), led of course by our Warlord. But just because it was a bunch of girls doesn't mean we work for 80% of what a guy team would get paid.
JVb!! HELP! I've been kidnapped by a band of Sammie Abbott groupies!!! They made me post those pictures!
Don't worry, I'm OK - Just making sure that you're paying attention.
