The Hill - Photos of the Year ^

Look closely at the photos - just below Colin Powell, and to the right of Al Sharpton, you will see one of the hundreds of "anti-war" rally posters that had been plastered to lightboxes throughout the city.
The photo had been taken after the DC Chapter's stealth "Truth in Advertising Team" had made their rounds one evening.
The team of four, led by a former military PsyOp expert, made several late-night missions onto the mean streets of DC to place the stickers. We would go out one night and hit all the boxes around Union Station, the Capitol, Supreme Court, and even International ANSWER HQ, only to find our stickers pulled off the next night; so, out we'd go again - more determined to spread the truth about who was aiding the "anti-war" movement.
We widened our area of operation to include posters placed on 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th Streets, H Street (along Lafayette Park), K Street, North Capitol Street. We could tell, as the week wore on, that we were really rankling the lefties, because they were tearing the heck out of their own posters in an effort to remove our expertly affixed disclaimers!
We had covered so many of their posters that they were unable to keep up with us. There were several areas where our stickers were never removed.
One night as two of our team worked along K Street, we passed two lefties going in the opposite direction who were carrying a bucket of paste and flyers. We went back to that area later, to "further elaborate" on their messages.

Was this done very recently? I'm confused on the time, because I thought the big CANSWER rally was 3/20. In any case, superb tactics! That's what we need to do here before we all wear our fingernails down to nubs trying to rip their stickers down.

Over the weeks of our BlackOp mission we brainstormed and refined our technique for future ops. Lefties use paste. Paste would slow us down. We needed to keep things fast and dirty.

Does DC have a law against posting bills on public property? (I am asking about the ANSWER posters, not yours!!) I'm sure they do, but it's probably another one of those non-enforced DC things, along with illegal aliens, daylight gang shootouts, murder and stuff.

We did it last year, in advance of their March 15th episode here.
We kept the story to ourselves because our main goal was not publicity for us; rather, we wanted the masses of people who passed these strategically placed messages to stop and think about who was behind the funding and organization of International ANSWER.
When I found the photo in The Hill today, I called Kristinn and asked him if we should go ahead and share the story here.
That's what we need to do here before we all wear our fingernails down to nubs trying to rip their stickers down.
Go for it! I know we went through several printer cartridges on this project... check with Angelwood for paper requirements.

Deep behind enemy lines. The few signs posted on public property there were also edited for accuracy.

I was LMAO thinking about how PO'ed the leftist Saddamites were getting at having their posters plastered with the truth. That's what kept us going back every night. For every one they tore down from a poster, we'd replace it with two, and we'd expand our zone of operation to another block. :-)
