Russert's got the same information we do. He simply doesn't want to acknowledge it. BTW does everyone know Andrea Mitchell is on the Board of directors of Theresa Kerry's philanthropic group? Another CNBC person got one of their awards. Don't be surprised by the future fluff Kerry coverage on NBC.

That difference has enabled Fox to climb the ratings ladder. I welcomed it.

Everyone of these caucii and primaries have been manipulated for good reason. Allowing Edwards to win one in the south will give Kerry the reason to choose him for his veep.

IMHO, it's all be pre-determined by the powers that be....such as Kennedy and the rest of the america haters.

This served two purposes....it annointed Kerry and annialated Clinton and his cronies.

MTP closing segment was a winner for GWB..showing a clear understanding of what's necessary for the future. Finished on a high note.

Tim is garrulous and friendly w/dems during interviews. He's stern and asks unfriendly questions /conservatives. Count on it. That's his MO.

He wouldn't get invited to the good cocktail parties if that wasn't his MO. And you can bet that that is more important to Tim than just about anything. It just amazes me that Tim and Chris and Steffy don't get called on this more often. Yeah, I know, we've to Tony Snow on our side, but he's way too polite and apolitical whenever he hosts a show like FoxNews Sunday. JMHO.

What many miss is that the RATS are like troubled individuals in that they seemingly can't let go of the past.

When they can use the past against their opponents, that is.

Don't forget the clintonian "That's old news. Time to move on" mantra, that the likes of Kerry won't hesitate to use as it applies to himself. Also the state of the intelligence during the clinton years and the quotes from clinton, Albright, Berger, etc, are quite forgotten in this intelligence brouhaha. (Though President Bush reminds them, the mainstreams ignore it.)

Going back as far as early stages of Impeachment process I can remember nothing but the harshest invectives coming from the democrats, & I would be hard pressed to recall even one example from a conservative. THEY think Tom Delay is harsh!

Wimps.

I notice Kerry says vulgar things like "Don't let the door hit ya" and the media nods in agreement and says not one word of criticism about his choice of rhetoric.

The dims were also very offended by the President's agression and challenge when he said "bring it on". That must have polled well, since Kerry has started using it.

my overall impression is that he was too apologetic in the first half, but found his stride and ended really well.

Guys, let's remember, this is a marathon. He's having a bad few weeks, and it may continue for a while. Just 6 weeks ago, Howard Dean was the nominee apparent.

Stay focused, the pres is...

And so was Kenny Boy Lay of Enron fame (infamy).

I thought the costs of the invasion were somewhere around
$100b. You're saying it cost $600 b?

Might spending cuts been the answer to offset the costs
of war?

Part of the Farm bill, Education Bill, Prescript Drugs,
etc. could have been at least trimmed down?
