Tearing Down President Bush (Liberal/Dem. Media Hate)
self | 2/7/04 | thesummerwind

Posted on 02/07/2004 7:27:36 AM PST by thesummerwind

This Saturday morning on the 8:00 a.m. "news" report on CNN, the ever-pretty Suzanne Malveaux, the CNN White House Correspondette, continued an ASSAULT that has been going on now for over three years. She was doing a report on the formation of the new WMD Commission.

She noted, "The WMD Commission's findings won't come out until two months after the election ......... no matter who is elected, whether it be BUSH or someone else."

Most everyone here at FR knows what the pretty little liberal head Malveaux was slyly doing by calling the President, "Bush", instead of 'President Bush'. She was coyly illustrating her disrepect or her outright dislike for the man. (Maybe it is written into CNN policy.)

This discorteous tactic has been continually used by hundreds of liberal news people ever since the election. And, the natural effect of this etiquette-challenged device is damaging to the President's image, an added damage that we do not need coming into this election.

Could it be that, subconsciously, a number of American voters have assimilated this "less-than-respect", this rude impoliteness toward the President as a result of this continual manifest disrespect for the him and the office?

Suzanne Malveaux, who interestingly enough, believes that the impeachment of Bill Clinton was "the low point for American journalism", is just a young "puppy". If she weren't so young, would she have called Ronald Reagan, "Reagan" on the air back in the 80's? Somehow I doubt it.

The pretty face has said, "I always want to be involved in politics, because it's both fascinating and rewarding. I never want to do anything that could be called ‘tabloid.' I started out doing documentaries, which are slow, and now I'm involved with breaking news, which could mean being on the air every half-hour, or even for hours at a time. As I grow up in this business, I'll probably strike a balance between the two."

Hey Suzanne, how about striking a balance between being a "journalist" and your liberal-leaning, ill-mannered overt disrespect for the President? Then maybe you'll "grow up in the business"!

This impolite strategy used by the liberal media is just a small demonstration of their hatred for the President. Sadly there is alot of this to fight in the next nine months. The media will not give G.W. a break or even proper respect.

What do you think?

Oh I don't know, between Coulter, Hannety, Rush, and Savage we manage to whip up plenty of hatred on our own.

That is debatable, but the essential difference is that none of them claim to be objective or unbiased. Every time the left's bias is mentioned, it is met with "Who, me, nonsense". That makes them a dangerous and insidious assault on the truth.

Blunt disagreement supported by facts (ala Ann Coulter) does not constitute hatred. The culture war has raged for many years, and the left with its media army has succeeded in changing the rules of engagement so that all counter arguments are labeled as hatred.

God, you said it!

Guys, yeah, Soros is funneling money, but that's not what this is about. This is about GOP tactics. Not policy. Tactics. How do we maximize our turnout and minimize the opposition's?

Hey, the more that wanna flush their $$ down the toilet, the better.

It's looks and sounds like this (click! on the pic or text) ...

The Dirty 'RATS !

Nothing better than a rich Socialist/Progressive dumping his money down a toilet.

Unless it's several of them doing it.

...but my point is that I DO think that this continual disrespect can't help but have a subliminal effect on the "not so politically astute" out there...

----
I see your point. Like the single drip of water that eventually carves out a canyon. We've actually seen it happen with Dubya's approval rating going down steadily since the end of "major hostilities" in Iraq. There's no reason for this drop except for the News Media's slow drip of disrespect.

Yes, disrespect and disinformation! And the daily emphasis on the few deaths (yes, I know that each death is sad) rather than any positive aspects.....and the daily barrage by the sick, relentless liberal media about WMD. They nail him with innuendo and other low tactics, unbefitting a "Fair Press" every minute of every day. I think he just may lose the election because a majority of American voters are ignorant, uninformed, easily manipulated fools, and then this country is in DEEP S**T !

LOL.......... I hope you are right. But the Democrat ever-encompassing hatred is going to inspire incredible dirty dealing by them, worse fraud and cheating by far than ever before.

I'm sorry, but I cannot help but say that I find the over-confidence alarming.

But, that is funny.

Mountains of disinformation. That scares me because that's exactly how his father lost re-election...disinformation. And those "easily manipulated fools" will believe misinformation long before they'll consider the truth. Let's pray that Dubya can weather it and win re-election. I don't agree with EVERYTHING he has done, and have stated that here many times. But I can say I agree with him a boat-load more than I would have agreed with Gore or any of the current field of Demo-dwarfs running.

hehe ! Thanks ...

Optimism is a fault with me.

Come November 2nd, I'm voting straight ticket GOP ! I take NOTHING for
granted. And I would encourage ALL Conservatives to do the same ...

[And actually, I'll probably do my usual participation in the early voting
process that is offered here in Texas and beat the election day crowd !!]

The other ideas are sound. In 2000, we would have won easily on Friday. Unfortunately, the RATS were successful in getting out their vote so that by Tuesday, they closed the gap.

Thursday night of that election was when they released that DWI info. I'm still convinced that this is what cost Bush the popular vote.

During her talk she told them how President Bush dons jeans and a big belt buckle for show and drives a new truck. They, the Edwards, on the other hand, she said, drive a "real truck".

What would she define as a real truck, I wonder? And which one of their three palatial mansions is the real truck parked at?

Has anyone seen that picture of Laura Ingraham in a leopard print mini-skirt on the front of The New Yorker Magazine in March 1995? I have to see that. I can't find it yet on the internet.

I don't know where they park it, but she said "We have a REAL pickup that we drive. The kind that gets rust in the back".

That is pretty much a verbatim quote. I sat there wondering if there was any aspect of the Bushes that would be left not attacked. The answer seems to be, "not likely".

I just want to see her legs..........Her face, eyes, and mind already turn me on.

References to THE picture with the mini-skirt are all over the internet. You being an "old hand" here, pass along the need to see those conservative legs to the other heavy-duty FReepers, please! ;)
