Tearing Down President Bush (Liberal/Dem. Media Hate)

This Saturday morning on the 8:00 a.m. "news" report on CNN, the ever-pretty Suzanne Malveaux, the CNN White House Correspondette, continued an ASSAULT that has been going on now for over three years. She was doing a report on the formation of the new WMD Commission.

She noted, "The WMD Commission's findings won't come out until two months after the election ......... no matter who is elected, whether it be BUSH or someone else."

Most everyone here at FR knows what the pretty little liberal head Malveaux was slyly doing by calling the President, "Bush", instead of 'President Bush'. She was coyly illustrating her disrepect or her outright dislike for the man. (Maybe it is written into CNN policy.)

This discorteous tactic has been continually used by hundreds of liberal news people ever since the election. And, the natural effect of this etiquette-challenged device is damaging to the President's image, an added damage that we do not need coming into this election.

Could it be that, subconsciously, a number of American voters have assimilated this "less-than-respect", this rude impoliteness toward the President as a result of this continual manifest disrespect for the him and the office?

Suzanne Malveaux, who interestingly enough, believes that the impeachment of Bill Clinton was "the low point for American journalism", is just a young "puppy". If she weren't so young, would she have called Ronald Reagan, "Reagan" on the air back in the 80's? Somehow I doubt it.

The pretty face has said, "I always want to be involved in politics, because it's both fascinating and rewarding. I never want to do anything that could be called ‘tabloid.' I started out doing documentaries, which are slow, and now I'm involved with breaking news, which could mean being on the air every half-hour, or even for hours at a time. As I grow up in this business, I'll probably strike a balance between the two."

Hey Suzanne, how about striking a balance between being a "journalist" and your liberal-leaning, ill-mannered overt disrespect for the President? Then maybe you'll "grow up in the business"!

This impolite strategy used by the liberal media is just a small demonstration of their hatred for the President. Sadly there is alot of this to fight in the next nine months. The media will not give G.W. a break or even proper respect.

That wierd, insecure, Jullian Phillips, on FoxNews even refers to the President as "Bush".

To me, this is no big surprise. I HATED Clinton as our president and NEVER called him President Clinton. I don't expect the people who HATE President Bush to call him "President". I do, however, think respectable news organizations should adhear to showing respect to our president and commander in chief by calling him "President". Just proves once again that CNN is a news organization that deserves no respect because of their blatant left wing bias.

Oddly, folks, none of this matters. Tactics trump policy every single time.

I suggest it would be wise of FR to find ways to tactically win in November. Here are suggestions:

1) All Freepers who live in a state adjacent to a state "in play" and whose own state is safe, let's find ways to spend election day and maybe weeks prior working to help reelect Bush in that adjacent state. This may mean taking the day off to go drive GOTV vans to Veterans Hospitals or Homes in the adjacent state. The point being, the battle will be won in the battleground states and we need more of a presence there -- especially if the Deaniac imports decide to sign on with Kerry.

2) That big Bush warchest. I fear too much will be spent on campaign workers and managers. Let's clamor for spending it all renting every single van in the country for a few days prior to and during election day. Let's use them to drive our own people to polls -- even if our own people could get there on their own. No reason not to use the money to make it difficult for the opposition to bribe people with donuts and cigs in the vans and then take them to the polls. Let's deny them the vans. Period.

3) Who owns the media centers in the big media markets? Let's get GOP ownership of these advertising conduits and boost the price to Kerry, and then take some of the money he has to pay and funnel it to the Bush campaign.

Other tactical ideas? Forget policy. That's not what this is about. How can we implement winning tactics with our money advantage?

Yeh, but Coulter, "The Vegomatic", "slices and dices" with intelligent wit, and she is on the right side of nearly all issues.

Btw, there is such thing as righteous animosity and indignation, and I say Conservatives and Republicans have the great majority of it. What do you think?

Speaking of Hannity, did you see him the other night when he almost slugged that pencil-necked, scrawny, whining Congressman Anthony Weiner from 9th District, N.Y.? It was beautiful. Hannity almost lost it! ----lawsuit.

I rarely rant. This morning I was putting together a rocking chair for my grandaughter and Fox was on. The screaming about the market caused my wife to change to the show addressed above. The reporter said that "Bush" needs to explain why he said the danger was imminent. She really knows better. This is a key part of the assault on the President. My observation: journalists are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, are biased, somewhat lazy as they never check the truth of a story in another publication before repeating it and have an inflated sense of their importance.

You can only charge what is on the rate card one year before the election....and you can't charge one campaign more than another.

Yes, you're right. It's one thing for "we, the people" to leave off the "President", but news people should show respect for the office. I can't tell you the thousands of times I have seen and heard this.

Do you think it can subliminally make a difference in some voters' attitudes after they've heard it thousands of times? I do, it feeds the feeling that he's not up to the job, that he is a light weight.

Btw, I'll pass this little nugget along to you from a writer, Thomas Lifson. This comment relates to G.W.'s ability to weather this relentless liberal media storm.

I'm sure that the left would consider their criticism to be "righteous animosity and indignation" as well. We criticize them for comparing President Bush with Hitler, but when Hannity calls them 'evil' and Coulter and Savage consider them treasonous and the 'enemy' then how can we complain?

I don't know about this. I hate to think back on this, but during the last administration, I NEVER called Clintoon, "President Cl---Cl". See there...I can't even write it. I think I had more hate for him than the Liberals today have for President Bush. (Ah, President Bush so much easier to say.) I had more legitimate reasons to hate Clintoon than they have reason to hate Dubya. (See...I can't even write the jerks name without spelling it -toon.) Reflex I guess.

Anyway, I don't hold it against them. I simply file it away and know which side they're on. Thus I know to keep a salt shaker handy for what they have to say.
