This Saturday morning on the 8:00 a.m. "news" report on CNN, the ever-pretty Suzanne Malveaux, the CNN White House Correspondette, continued an ASSAULT that has been going on now for over three years. She was doing a report on the formation of the new WMD Commission.
She noted, "The WMD Commission's findings won't come out until two months after the election ......... no matter who is elected, whether it be BUSH or someone else."
Most everyone here at FR knows what the pretty little liberal head Malveaux was slyly doing by calling the President, "Bush", instead of 'President Bush'. She was coyly illustrating her disrepect or her outright dislike for the man. (Maybe it is written into CNN policy.)
This discorteous tactic has been continually used by hundreds of liberal news people ever since the election. And, the natural effect of this etiquette-challenged device is damaging to the President's image, an added damage that we do not need coming into this election.
Could it be that, subconsciously, a number of American voters have assimilated this "less-than-respect", this rude impoliteness toward the President as a result of this continual manifest disrespect for the him and the office?
Suzanne Malveaux, who interestingly enough, believes that the impeachment of Bill Clinton was "the low point for American journalism", is just a young "puppy". If she weren't so young, would she have called Ronald Reagan, "Reagan" on the air back in the 80's? Somehow I doubt it.
The pretty face has said, "I always want to be involved in politics, because it's both fascinating and rewarding. I never want to do anything that could be called tabloid.' I started out doing documentaries, which are slow, and now I'm involved with breaking news, which could mean being on the air every half-hour, or even for hours at a time. As I grow up in this business, I'll probably strike a balance between the two."
Hey Suzanne, how about striking a balance between being a "journalist" and your liberal-leaning, ill-mannered overt disrespect for the President? Then maybe you'll "grow up in the business"!
This impolite strategy used by the liberal media is just a small demonstration of their hatred for the President. Sadly there is alot of this to fight in the next nine months. The media will not give G.W. a break or even proper respect.
What do you think?
Wanna hear a good one?
Barney Fwank, Johnnie Kerrie, and Teddie Kennedy decided to go camping in the hills of Asschusetts one day.
As they were preparing to "hit the hay," Barney turns to Teddie and says . . .
She has thick, medium-length chestnut hair, beautiful co-ed/Grace Kelly-like beauty, and, she's healthy enough to have just run a marathon last summer ( five hours and 36 minutes). If I were single and younger, she'd be near the top of my list, up there with Michelle Malkin, Heather Nauert, Patti Ann Brown, Laurie Dhue, Linda Vester ..............better stop! No Suzanne is very pretty, but it's just "Bush" to her. I'd like to straighten her out.
Yes they do have " an inflated sense of their importance". But their 'not so subtle' tactics ARE influential on 80-90% of voters, and it hurts. I yearn for the days when being a "journalist" meant 'reporting' the news, not reporting an impression of the news.
CNN, ABC, and SeeBS are the very worst on TV, and it could be fatally damaging come election time.
Example: No matter how well G.W. does tomorrow with Russert, even if the President brings his 'A' game, watch how the show is edited and shown in pieces on the news shows the next week or so. They'll manage to make G.W. look worse than his performance really was. It's a disgrace what the mainstream media has become.
The mainstream media, as it consists today, is one of the greatest enemies of this nation. When they can have such a negative impact on one Party in what are supposed to be free elections, then this country is in trouble. And, this country IS in big trouble
The evil effect of the lamestream media needs to be exposed for what it is, not to us who know, and read the likes of Ann Coulter and Bernie Goldberg, but to the rest of the 85% of Americans who do not understand the incredible negative and slanted influence of the liberal media!!!

'Billionaires Join Soros to Defeat Bush' --- http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1070615/posts
Soros is not the only billionaire who has a passionate hatred for George Bush. MoveOn recently reported that Peter B. Lewis, chairman of Progressive Corp., has already given $1.5 million to the group. Lewis is so anxious to help MoveOn he now promises to match the amount contributed to MoveOn by any contributor, 50 cents for each dollar donated up to $20,000. Progressive (youve seen their TV commercials) is the nation's third-largest auto insurer.
You have a point, I don't like the "adjectives" (treasonous and evil) either. Just stick to the facts. We are right on the facts.
Check out my freepmail on this subject.
I don't listen to Savage, so have no comment on him.
I will say that when the dems call President Bush a deserter and say he went AWOL during his service, they know it's a lie and so spewing such is in fact evil.
The dems were recipients of the same intelligence President Bush received regarding Iraq, and in fact these same dems are on record as having said in the past things about Iraq every bit as alarming as President Bush ever said, yet now they act like President Bush pulled the idea Iraq posed a threat out of thin air and to use to his own political advantage. I call such deception on the part of the dems evil.
And then we have the petty little personal digs at him that you will never hear come from the Bush camp at their democrat opponents. One example that comes to mind is I saw Elizabeth Edwards on CSPAN doing one of those outreaches in a private home. During her talk she told them how President Bush dons jeans and a big belt buckle for show and drives a new truck. They, the Edwards, on the other hand, she said, drive a "real truck". Stupid and petty? Yes. Yet who is wielding this ploy? In my wildest dreams I cannot imagine Laura Bush talking to a group of supporters and resorting to such personal comments about the dem candidate.
WAIT JUST ONE MINUTE!
Blunt disagreement supported by facts (ala Ann Coulter) does not constitute hatred. The culture war has raged for many years, and the left with its media army has succeeded in changing the rules of engagement so that all counter arguments are labeled as hatred.
Liberals continuously ask for much more than they ever receive by their approach to debate. Character assassination, lying, ignorance, disdain for the truth, etc. are all the liberals offer to the dialogue.
LOL! Just one point though please; You being a private citizen is different than being a News Correspondent. To me, the Newsies have more responsibility to show respect for the President and the office than you and me, private citizens.
Anyway, I don't hold it against them. I simply file it away and know which side they're on.
Just to comment on that; I know we here at Free Republic are hip to 'the media political games', but my point is that I DO think that this continual disrespect can't help but have a subliminal effect on the "not so politically astute" out there, and that constitutes about 80-90% of the voting population. That insidious disrespect has to have an effect on the image of the President on those unsuspecting voters, and in a close election, it could make a difference, a terrible difference.
We'll see.
How about his obnoxious, motor-mouthed sister, the little Granny operative, Ann Lewis? What a weirdo?
She needs a pie in the face.
Thanks for the info on Progrssive.
Yes. The right (we) get angry, and sometimes we call names and use adjectives (evil, treasonous, etc.), and that is actually unnecessary. But, we are on the right side of facts nearly always in disputes. Our perceived anger is not hatred, to me, it is mostly just frustration with liberal idiocy!!!
