VERMONT AUTHOR (Chief Justice L. Jeffrey Amestoy) OF SAME-SEX RULING BRINGING HIS CASE to New Jersey!!

Vermont Chief Justice L. Jeffrey Amestoy was in the vanguard of the movement to give people the right to wed someone of the same sex or at least provide them all the rights of married couples. That was the essence of his controversial ruling in 1999. The legislature there responded with a law providing for civil unions, considered far stronger than the domestic partnership statute enacted here last month.

Amestoy isn't shy about discussing and expanding on his thinking behind the ruling and will discuss it Feb. 18 at Rutgers Law School-Camden. A talk he gave in 2001 offered insight into the issue - one eventually expected to be facing the New Jersey Supreme Court. Among those in the audience at that speech two years ago was Chief Justice Deborah T. Poritz. A complete story is in the Feb. 9 New Jersey Lawyer. 2-5-04

Of course he's not shy about it. He's an evangelist for the cause, and burns with the passion for it. Too bad the media isn't as dismissive of his 'religious' beliefs as they are of those of the people who oppose him.

Homosexual Agenda Ping - Watch out, New Jersey... the orcs are coming.

As SuziQ notes, this man (and so many others) are burning with feverish passion to promote the cause of normalizing same sex acts - nay, ramming and cramming it down everyone's collective throats.

They want no compromise. So the more conservatives compromist with them, the closer we are to total defeat.

If anyone wants on or off this ping list, ping me.
