[history]
For months now, we have seen the fringe elements of the Democratic Party peddling cheap conspiracytheoriesagainst President Bush. Even some prominent liberal figures in the party have engaged in this foul rumor mongering.
Sen. Ted Kennedy alleged the Iraq War was "made up in Texas" for political purposes. Howard Dean floated the "interesting" theory that the president was forewarned of the attacks on September 11.

Great article and if Kerry doesn't repudiate the slander, then the dirt's on him and the stink will sink him.

Kerry will pretend to abhor it and claim to be above the charges. This has been a good cop, bad cop planned routine from the outset.

I don't know.I think this is going to be a loooong campaign.
Kerry is getting the dem votes and the voters don't seem to care who he is,what he has really NOT accomplished in the Senate or his Special Interest championship fund raising
.The betrayal after his service of his comrades in arms doesn't matter.
His flip flops are infamous,...no problem.
What's a bit of slander of the President?

Yes,it's going to feel like a century, between now and November. It's bad enough fighting Libs. but when the PURISTS crawl out of the woodwork, here, to trash the president, the fight gets dirtier.:-(

I don't want to win an argument,I want to win an election.I believe it is imperative to return Bush to the White House.
I don't want the UN in charge of our foreign policy. I don't want a man who has voted against funding weapons we are using in Iraq,a friend of the communist, a man who cast stones at the military, in charge of our National Security.

Damn straight!
Anyone voting third party, nor staying homes, come November,IS helping to elect a Dem, probably John F'ing Kerry, president. Their vaunted principles aren't worth a wooden nickle! And GOD forbid the president isn't reelected, they'd better stay off FR, because a whole lot of us are going to remember just WHO they are. :-)

I want to concentrate on winning over the wavering, ignore the impossibles, not waste time on the "usuals".Some will face the alternatives and vote for Bush even though.. and those I hope to inform and encourage.Baiters are ,well, baiters.

The more that Republican Vets speak out, the harder it is for Dims to act like they were the only ones who were ever in Vietnam.
