I have had something knawing on me for some time, and finally I found a letter on Steve Quayles site that backed it up.
Apparently a nuclear weapons type posted this to his site in email, and he archived it in his files. The site link is below.
I am going to post it here, and then explain what I see that validates it.

Nukes, Nukes, Who's Got the Nukes?
http://www.stevequayle.com/News.alert/04_Nukes/040209.al-Qaeda.nuke2.html February 10, 2004
In the early 90's we had a pretty good handle on how many weapons were possessed by our enemies and where they were located.
We literally have a priority list that associates our inventory with targets in their inventory. No so anymore.
God only knows how many new nuclear weapons have been produced by Pakistan, India, China and Iran. Not to mention the Russian inventory sold to the highest bidders as their military and scientists went unpaid.
We are in deep sh**.
Clinton gutted our CIA and NSA budgets. Much of our human intelligence was exposed by internal enemies. That takes time to recover. We probably won't get it back in time to avert a nuke attack on U.S. soil.
from a nuclear weapons specialist.

The last paragraph states "much of our human intelligence was exposed by internal enemies". Sent a chill down my spine.
Suppose, as Sean indicated, there are numbers of "internal enemies" in positions of authority who are knowingly undermining our security and hoping for something catastrophic in order to seize power and install a totalitarian type government?
Sounds stupid, but I see occasional indicators of this in my field of work, and it makes me wonder sometimes.

Excellent article.
Sadly, it is more truthful than not.

( Ok..Ok....I have plenty of Tinfoil...I'm putting it on as I finish this) No need for tin foil jm. Just take a look around what use to be our cozy little nest named the United States of America. There is a movement that has been going on for some time. Prayer taken out of the schools, and other gatherings. Individuals trying to have the pledge of allegiance taken out of the schools. Attempts for the word Christmas to be changed, and I can go on and on and on.
Nope no need for tin foil.

We very well may be infiltrated with traitors. It would be reassuring to know the people we trust with the nation's secrets have been subjected to close scrutiny, background checks and intelligence gathered on them. Especially if they are foreign born or here via work permits. Additionally, length of employment is not necessarily a gauge for honesty or integrity anywhere, including government jobs.

Michael Savage is in agreement with you.
The enemy with in is the real problem.
If you dig around, you will find much to support it.
A pen pal, is militia oriented and the stuff that he has sent over the years, sure supports the enemy within.
That is what they base the "Militia will have to fight the Gov" thought on.
No, he isn't an evil or nazi person, it is simply what he thinks and the proof if strong.
