SANAA, Yemen, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- A purported statement by al-Qaida in Yemen warned Saturday of a "major strike" soon in the United States.
The statement, distributed by the Yemeni Tagamoo Party for Reforms, said: "A major strike, a big event will take place in America soon," reminiscent of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Most of the sicknesses did not occur until several days after the Republicans left, and there was nothing to indicate the outbreak was linked to the Republican gathering, and no foul play was suspected. It makes you wonder...
Points of interest:
Legal action and the payment of substantial compensation is anticipated by specialist personal injury lawyers following the outbreak of illness on board the MS Aurora.|I already act for a number of clients who suffered illness following an outbreak of Noro virus (Norwalk-like virus) on the board the Aurora in April 2003. Clearly there will need to be a very careful investigation as to the circumstances leading up to this most recent outbreak.
About 10 per cent of the Pacific Sky's passengers suffered vomiting and diarrhoea as a result of the spread of the Noro Virus, also known as Norwalk Virus. ...
Lodge open again after illness was reported The Lodge Restaurant in Forest City opened again for business on Saturday after having been closed for 72 hours | Hanft said the illness was confirmed to be a noro-virus, which can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, low-grade fever, chills, muscle ache and a general sense of tiredness. It is generally associated with the stomach flu, but Hanft drove home the fact that it is not the same. | Noro-viruses are 50 percent of what people generally associate with food poisoning, but Hanft said you are dealing with a person-to-person situation. The virus comes from an infected person and is generally associated with personal hygiene.
What is interesting are the varied places, cities etc. and things said about Noro
Dozens of students and staff at South Park and nearby Jefferson Elementary have been affected by the highly contagious noro-virus.| School officials at South Park said there were still a few staff and students out sick Monday but attendance was up. About seven children went home with symptoms. | Superintendent Ron Heilmann said there are scattered cases at other schools but nothing as serious as South Park or Jefferson.
Noro as a bio threat
CDC: Viruses Blamed in Ship Illnesses CDC Says Viruses Blamed in Cruise Ship Illnesses Showing Up Around the Country| The Associated Press | ATLANTA Jan. 24 2003 | Noroviruses, the category of viruses that caused thousands of cruise ship passengers to fall ill last year, appear to be on the rise in the United States, federal officials said Thursday.

A Wealth of articles we need to read
Newsworthy articles for your education and awareness, primarily pertaining to health, environmental and political/governmental issues that relate to both. These articles will not likely ever be seen on the T.V. and will be lost on the back pages of mainstream newspapers if they did decide to print them. They are however important to our lives and health. In some cases quite shocking

I think we should follow these 'ills' on a daily basis, for many of us believe this is the next line of terrorism and many as myself believe it has begun

I did Yahoo and local Vegas papers and also nothing!
As my daughter said, they sure won't publicize especially since it may include quarantine.

The Food and Drug Administration in Houston will do more tests. Officials with Pepperidge Farm didn't immediately return a call for comment. Well of course we all know they won't comment and the story fades/disappears!

Wouldn't her husband say "if you are going to take the car today let me get something out of the glovebox"? He'd only say that if it was something he truly wanted to hide. BTW my daughter loves your tagline!
