Hoping to follow former Bond girls such as Halle Berry, Jane Seymour and Ursula Andress, Britney Spears met in London recently with the producers of the James Bond movies, reportedly at her request.
Spears' Web site says she has signed on to produce and star in an adaptation of author Tobi Tobin's Door to Door, in which she will play a teenager trying to catch her big break in Hollywood.

In the last bond movie, Madona was edited in. In the two seconds her face was visible you could have subbed in ANY actress. lame. (madona, the female michael jackson)

Ms. Bulldagger 1st Lesbo-Bond girlActually, Pussy Galore (Goldfinger) was a lesbian. She was "converted" by Bond.

They can't be that stupid to put Spears in a Bond film can they.. ? I could think of two roles they might write for her probably not beyond her talents, and that she could play as straight dramatic roles, something of which her career is not blessed with an excess.
They'd never do it in a hundred years.

It is hard to put a finger on exactly what caused the decline in the Bond movies, but it seems to be pretty closely aligned with how well they stay with the story as written by Fleming.
Dr. No which imo was the best went almost exactly by the book. I recall a very minor scene with the government official in which he taps his match box which is shown exactly as described in the book. From Russia With Love and Goldfinger got a little further away but were still excellent.
The last dozen or so had virtually nothing to do with the story except for the title. Now even the titles are made up.
