Hoping to follow former Bond girls such as Halle Berry, Jane Seymour and Ursula Andress, Britney Spears met in London recently with the producers of the James Bond movies, reportedly at her request.
Spears' Web site says she has signed on to produce and star in an adaptation of author Tobi Tobin's Door to Door, in which she will play a teenager trying to catch her big break in Hollywood.

Yes, of course I'm talking tobacco. Fine English blend tobaccos--Dunhill, G.L. Pease, Samuel Gawith... Mmmmmm. Plenty of Cypriot Latakia, Balkan and Turkish tobaccos. I'm enjoying a bit of 'Squadron Leader' right now--with a Guinness.Hi, chookter. I'm with you on the pipe smoking. But I like a mix of mature Virginias and 30% Perique. It's got a nice kick. I stay away from the orientals as my wife can't abide them.

Remember when Grace Jones was one? I've never been that desperate. The thought of that makes my little turtle curl up like a dip in an ice cold pond in the middle of winter.

Perhaps she has the talent for it, we'll see when and if she ever does a movie. She's already starred in her own movie. Something about a wanna-be girl singer driving cross country with some girlfriends. I wasn't interested. Guess no one else was either.

I saw an promo interview with Halle Berry on the TV Guide channel for her Bond film.
Prejudices aside - The TV Guide Channel as a mouth piece generally turns me off 80%+ of the time (hmmm, I wonder if
they are trying to get me to buy the hardcopy???)
- Ms. Berry was alluding to herself as a spin off of Bond at that time.
I must confess I don't remember the last time I paid to see a Bond movie. And I had the [toy] briefcase as kid.

Looks pretty good to me.

The picture proves my point. She doesn't look like some savvy, mature, seductress. She looks like some trampy lipglossed high school kid showing off her latest purchases from the local Wal-Mart.<
You happen to recall BiBi Dahl from For Your Eyes Only, as played by Lynn Holly-Johnson? That gave us the splendid Bond quote of *Well, you put your clothes on, and I'll buy you an ice cream...*

We need a new Bond more than a new Bond girl. Brosnan is a flaming lefty. The quicker he is dumped the better. Vinnie Jones, from Snatch and Lock, Stock, and two Smoking Barrels.
