In the Senate, his record of his constituent services has been lackluster, and most of his colleagues, despite their public support, are hard-pressed to list an accomplishment. There's a track record for you. And his charitable contributions of $135 on about a 100,000 salary is impressive. No wonder the Dems always want to raise taxes, they believe greed is a universal human condition that must be regulated.

Howie missed the Intern stories he use to tell on his radio show.
It seems Kerry had a thing for blond interns, and he would only interview them between 10:00 PM and 6:00AM when his African American wife was out of town.
I wonder if this will be mentioned again later in the campaign?

I'm still trying to figure out what two wealthy women ever saw in this loser.

Of course, in 1993 he was between his first and second heiresses - a time he now calls "the wandering years," although an equally apt description might be "the freeloading years."
Were those "the wandering years" when he annulled his marriage from first wife and children so he could marry his second wifey? At least thats what I have heard on the internet - what I've read, what they are talking about. But I don't know. I will let the jfk wannabe speak for himself. But you know, I've always wondered - does that mean the children really didn't happen when a person annuls their marriage. hmmmmm and then there is such a thing as character, isn't there!!!!

Hey! Why don't we boycott Heinz products? Who needs to fund his campaign unwittingly? If he's using any of his wife's money, we're all paying his way into the WH. Well, his try for it, anyway. We can eliminate our part in this easily enough.

John Kerry as the Great Equivocator?:
"Thank you for contacting me to express your opposition ... to the early use of military force by the US against Iraq. I share your concerns. On January 11, I voted in favor of a resolution that would have insisted that economic sanctions be given more time to work and against a resolution giving the president the immediate authority to go to war."
--letter from Senator John Kerry to Wallace Carter of Newton Centre, Massachusetts, dated January 22 [1991]
"Thank you very much for contacting me to express your support for the actions of President Bush in response to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. From the outset of the invasion, I have strongly and unequivocally supported President Bush's response to the crisis and the policy goals he has established with our military deployment in the Persian Gulf."
--Senator Kerry to Wallace Carter, January 31 [1991]

Thanks for posting. I had forgotten Howie was going to have a column in the NYP. But I think he said yesterday on the radio that the NYP thought the column he submitted was way too long, so they might run it in two sections. I hope so!

I know Howie lurks on FR and am sure he will read the comments about his own article, so Howie: Don't forget to dig out the inside track piece that ran in your paper last summer about Kerry going ballistic at some gas dock at a Cape Cod marina last summer, when the gas jockey wasn't going fast enough for him fueling his "yacht" (Gigilo John must have been in another rush), and Kerry let loose with a few loud "You f...ng Idiot" within earshot of other boaters and summer tourists. I understand he did not have to ask them "Do you know who I am", because they already knew, and dimes were dropping pretty fast soon after the incident.
