Who shot the "F" sheriff? I don't think the Clinton's fire a shot this early.

Why doesn't this surprise me? CFR is a joke, American taxpayers left with the burden of paying for this huge pet white elephant project is a joke, and Kerry is a unabashed sheister.

How did I know that it would be AIG or Great American Ins that would be the party? Second thought, why do all of these elected officials carry so much baggage?

This is why traditionally Senators make poor Presidential candidates, they all have some dirt on them.

I agree with your assessment on Senators as Presidential candidates. I just hope he hangs on to win the nomination. If Dean makes a comeback now he might stay on top and in my opinion he is the only candidate to worry about.
The thing about Senators is they all have a voting record that is open and easy enough to throw darts at. If one has never made a decision then they can't be held accountable for their positions held in the past. Especially nice to be able to have the government seal your records!
To: dfwgator
Generally, Senators make poor Presidential candidates because they have a long voting record that is easy to pick apart. No one knows or cares what a Governor does. In a lot of states it's very little.

Man, the press seems to have successfully ignored this story - it was on the front page of Yahoo yesterday afternon then - blip! - it's gone. Wonder if it will get more attention today?

EWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kerry's office confirmed yesterday that as a member of the Senate Commerce Committee, he persuaded committee Chairman John McCain (R-Ariz.) to drop a provision that would have stripped $150 million from the project and ended the insurance funding loophole.
That's John McCain, "Mr. Pork Barrel" spending critic.
John Kerry, was receiving almost a quarter of a million dollars from the (pharmaceutical) industrys law firm, Mintz et. al. was Kerrys brother Cams law firm. Cam has become a national authority on the representation of property owners and insurers in toxic tort litigation involving liability for injuries from lead-based paint and mold.
Hypocrite!

Dean's gone. People are taking shots at Kerry. Leave the stiff alone. He's nothing more than a goat sacrifice in the election. We could end up with the Breck girl. The soccer mom's will have to stop wearing T shirts. Rush had a name for women's reaction to Clinton; some kind of gap. That's the danger with Edwards.

There is no need to excerpt Associated Press articles. FR exists as a way of archiving news stories for discussion. If you excerpt and link, when the link goes dead (as it always eventually does), then we no longer have the story here for future reference.
Unless constrained by terms of The Settlement, please post articles in full, not excerpted.

"Well, excuse me, all knowing one..." An unfortunate comment.
When Jim and John Robinson created FR, they did so in a manner different from all other forums. Their mission was to create an archive in addition to a discussion medium. If you would like some insight into how Free Republic came into being, you might find a discussion with Jim to be quite entertaining. You can freep-mail Jim Robinson or post to him by that screen name for further info. He's here just about every day.
Have a profitable day!

Hopefully, this is just one of many stories that will emerge about Kerry's sleaziness. I hope the RNC has a boat load of them.
