With just four letters Ohio lawmakers have redefined marriage in the state.
It will have a widespread impact on same-sex couples and businesses in a city already seen by some as intolerant.
The law is known as "DOMA" the Defense of Marriage Act.
It passed the Ohio house Tuesday and is waiting for Governor Taft's signature.
This comes on the heels of a Massachusetts court ruling that recognized same sex marriages.
Ohio becomes the 38th state to pass such a law.

Note: the "city seen as intolerant" is Cincinnati, Ohio, whose citizens passed a charter amendment years ago telling its city council to pay attention to government matters, not morality and sexual psychology...
WCPO is in Cincinnati.

So the people in Ohio are safe from the dysfunctional influx. All the fags are moving to Massichusetts - Kerry country.
(Invest in chastity belt stocks. Parents of young boys will be buying them big time in Kerry land!)

Considering it is Taft, all bets are off until he actually puts pen to paper.
To: Corporate Law
All they would have to do to guarantee his signature is attach new tax and a bunch of spending to it.

CCW and DOMA in a single session. The General Assembly is slowly, oh so slowly, becoming more conservative. Now if we can only elect Blackwell as Governor.

Perhaps journalist should also disclose their sexual preferences for purposes of full disclosure and balance.
Is there any way to reduce the circulation of the Boston Globe? They seem to be the largest source for the propaganda (lying) on this issue.
It would be something to have that paper go extinct.
