If you are in a state which has an open primay, I implore you, for FRentertainment purposes only, to vote for anyone but Kerry. Please, vote for Edwards, Clark or Dean. We want a brokered convention with lots of anti-capitalist nuts protesting in Boston. With Ted Kennedy getting another DUI. And with the Rats fighting and spending millions just to pick a loser. Please, vote for anyone but Kerry. Let's muck them up but good.

It looks as though Edwards will win SC and possibly OK. Kerry looks strong in all other states. But the networks are being very coy about the exit polls they have-but-can't-release.

Nevada has a closed primary or else I would put on an orange cap that day, go down and be a Deanaholic! Haha!

Ambrose posted a thread earlier with these results, supplied by National Review, and I believe supposed to be the exit polling results from earlier. Grain of salt.
AZ Kerry 46, Clark 24, Dean 13
MO Kerry 52, Edwards 23, Dean 10
SC Edwards 44, Kerry 30, Sharpton 10
OK Edwards 31, Kerry 29, Clark 28
DE Kerry 47, Dean 14, Lieberman 11, Edwards 11

Looks like FoxNews got Susan Estrich into the make-up chair again...almost looks good. Had another one of those "Whoa - who's that" moments, until she opened her yap, and there went the needle on the "Yikes!" meter...

Drudge reporting that battle is in OK between John Kerry and Howard Dean on who in that state Wow, OK is between Kerry and Dean? No Edwards? Fascinating.

there went the needle on the "Yikes!" meter...She sounds like she smokes two cartons a day. She's not afraid of busting on the Clintons, though, and I guess that's a good sign.

Don't know the results and exit polls last time were off, but if Edwards wins SC, OK and comes in strong second in MO AND clark/dean drop out..then it really could show/confirm Kerry's weakness in the South. Pretty much leaves the battle in 6 or so states - NM, PA, NH, WV, IA, WI and OHIO!

Bet Clark wishes he had set this one out.
To: SevenofNine
I think you mean Clark and Edwards. If they start splitting states 3 ways this will be entertaining. Kerry will not play well in the South. He's viewed as another Kennedyite by everyone on both parties down here.

OK is a fight between Kerry, Edwards & Clark... Dean isn't even on the radar screen.
To: Petronski
As a Massachusetts resident, it stinks that John Kerry now has frontrunner status. What is it about humorless and stiff liberals like John Kerry that appeals to so many people across the country. Everybody must think that people like Kerry and Mike Dukakis and Ted Kennedy are representative of people from Massachusetts.
That is not so.
I hope that Kerry loses at least South Carolina and Oklahoma tonight. But it looks like the other five states have been captivated by Kerry for some strange reason. Perhaps all these people exist in some kind of weird alternate universe in which people like John Kerry are actually appealing.
What about Howard Dean? All the fuss made about Dean over the past few months and how he is the unstoppable frontrunner, but when the primaries started, his campaign was dead on arrival. Out of money, out of goofy student volunteers and out of his freepin' mind.
What a shame. Howard Dean would have been a blast at the convention in Boston this summer. That would have been the perfect place for a Howard Dean meltdown. Why couldn't we have heard his rebel yell on that platform? But alas, it was not meant to be.

The Clark supporters over on DU are ready to slit their wrists. There's a thread with Hari Krishna mantras and talk of candles and Heineken and vodka.
