Expert on MSNBC claims this is a copycat......and is domestic terrorism....not foreign. The coverup begins.. How blatantly correct you are. They must take us all for fools.

People were complaining that the Greenville SC incident was ignored by the major media; I was pointing out it was basically ignored by FR as well. Change the note from a complaint about trucking regulations to a note mentioning Israel or Allah and there would have been a several-thousand post thread on it.
Cmon, take any given incident posted to FR at all...any murder, child abuse, vial of ricin...and connect anything at all Islamic or an Arab-sounding name to the story and it will increase the number of posts to the thread by a factor of 10. If some horrible incident doesn't have the correct ethnicity or religion connected with it (of course, now on FR, a Mexican illegal alien will work as well as an Arab) in many cases it will pass without notice on FR.

I remember the story too about rigging stuffed animals with explosives or bio/chem agents....

I agree with your above points, John. It's just that a truck driver complainting about regulations doesn't scare the bejezzes out of me. Jihadists do.

Has anyone been watching this clock?
http://www.spiritoftruth.org/nuclearterrorism.htm
I heard about it on FR, I thought it was BS but with all this starting to happen I can stop watching it. I have the thing ticking on my Active desk top. Am I just nuts?

Am I just nuts? After everything that has happened since 9/11 and all the recent threats?? Nope. I would definitely not say nuts. Cautious, prepared and open-minded would be the correct term. I do believe it stops at Midnight CST.

That is obviously a murder. If the chair was upright he is still to far from it for his feet to touch.

The castor bean plant is also the source of castor oil. Ricin is frighteningly easy to make - I looked it up a couple of years ago, when that London apartment was found with traces of it, and a bunch of empty DMSO cream jars. Speculation was that they had mixed ricin with the carrier DMSO & spread it on door handles etc., which, if it had worked, would have been almost untraceable. Imagine people dying randomly all over London. Where would you even begin to look?

That ricin was found in South Carolina (where we live) and it was only in the local news here a few times.

That countdown clock certainly gives one the creeps. Along those same lines, I ran across this picture recently at littlegreenfootballs.com. It was discovered on a website (with arabic text) called know-islam and is captioned - the beauty of destruction.

LOL!
Someone at my work pointed that out to me too.

How can you be so sure that it is int'l terrorism, and not domestic? The timing and method suggest to me that it could very well be domestic, someone intent on damaging the Bush administration. Just in the last week or two there has been a revival in the mediots of the talking points about any terrorist act would be Bush's fault for going to war in Iraq, then all of a sudden a (so far) small scale ricin attack on the capitol, very similar to the anthrax attacks. IMHO whoever did those anthrax attacks thought that it would politically be very damaging to Bush, and was disappointed in their miscalculation of that, hence there cessation of it.
Yes, I know about CT, this could be domestic or AQ, or other int'l terror groups. But no way am I gonna rule anything out right now, knowing how utterly dispicable, ethically bankrupt, and totally desparate some elements of the liberals are to regain power. Is that an unfair accusations at the Clintons? Perhaps, but hey, when you run around with organized crime types all your career, you open yourself up to suspicion.

Anyone willing to take odds on whether or not the ricin from yesterday has an extremely fine silica coating on it? What sort of odds are you giving?

I'm not smart enough to make book on it. But I would lean maybe 3-2 for the weaponization.
I'm really not a gambler anymore though. Learned my lesson a long time ago.

No mention of
Dr. Steven Hatfill, the "person of interest" in any of these cases ...
Or Chief Moose on the trail of two white guys in a white box truck ...
I hope the surveillance cameras have valid and useful information.

Is this what you were talking about or a new incident?
