Statement by NFL Executive Vice President Joe Browne regarding the Super Bowl halftime show:
"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced Halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the show. It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."

He can play with his duck for five minutes? Why would anyone want to play with a duck?

I couldn't understand ONE word of lyrics they grunted. We had the closed captions enabled on the TV.
You don't want to know what the lyrics were.

I turned on the TV for a second to see the score. Not realizing it was halftime, I stood there stunned at this freak show that was taking place before my eyes. I cant explain the shock I experienced looking at a stage full of degenerates being broadcast all over the world. I was so disgusted, I turned off the TV immediately. Thank goodness I missed the Janet Jackson bit. What I saw was sickening enough.

At least the NFL halftime show didn't get upstaged by the "Lingerie Bowl".

The entire Half-Time show has become one big embarrassment. It's been going this way for several years. It's always been a bit of a joke, but now it's just getting painful to watch. Hopefully we've reached the nadir. I'd hate to see how much worse it could get.

I didn't pay any attention to it. I was in a group of 30+ and no one else saw it either.

Yeah, MTV executives are probably saying something like "It's good for business."

CBS is CBS what did they expect from MTV.A bunch of liberal anti-moral crap. They knew what they would be getting. How can they NOT know? They're both related. Both are owned by Viacom.

This may sound strange, and I don't know if anyone had the same reaction as I did (I'm just loggin in here), but when I saw the boob I really didn't think it was real. I thought they had some kind of "booblike" plate or material or something, mainly because I just couldn't believe they would allow a real boob to be flashed that way.
Boobs or not, and even without the crotch grabbing, this was by far the worst SB halftime show I've ever seen.

I spent halftime in my room, with the door shut (we didn't have a SB party), reading LaHaye/Jenkins' "The Remnant". Or rather REreading it. Since 5/1/03 with "Left Behind", on the first of each month I begin rereading one of the LB novels. I have all 11 thus far. I'm now up to "The Remnant". Next month I'll reread "Armageddon". It's my way of counting down to the 3/30 release of the 12th (and supposedly final book in the series), "Glorious Appearing".

Oh, don't get me wrong. Breasts are evil. Really evil. I don't know how I will ever recover now that I have seen Janet's mostly exposed breast. I'm traumatized... I can think of nothing worse than seeing a bare female breast.
To: Humidston
ROTF! Did they have subtitles for the non-ugga speakers in the audience?

So, will the head line read "Janet Jackson Flashed Huge Implants"?
To: xm177e2
Timberlake ripped off Janet's blouse to expose her breast on Nat'l TV with just a pastie covering most of the nipple. what a crisp, tight, description.

The NFL really expects anyone to believe they were 'duped' by the cunning sophisticates at MTV? Right. Give it a couple of years and there will be murder and fornication at halftime.
