Statement by NFL Executive Vice President Joe Browne regarding the Super Bowl halftime show:
"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced Halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the show. It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."

Once more I challenge you to pick up an unabridged copy of Augustine's 'The City of God'. After you've read it, report back.
Don't leave us all in suspense. What does Augustine's work have to say about Janet Jackson's boob in a halftime show?

I sure HOPE they won't use MTV again next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was TERRIBLE. If the half time doesn't clean up , I will refuse the game altogether in our home!!!

Think this will become an issue for him?Doubtful. Though I imagine the campaign's handlers will be sure to remind Sean not to get too outlandish. But who knows?

I think I posted here last year how bad the show sucked but this is a new low in non-entertainment. I don't want a Disney show nor do I want a return of Michael Jackson/Brittany Spears/Aerosmith fiasco. Just a decent entertaining for everyone halftime show like it used to be. IMHO, the best-ever halftime show was two years ago, when U2 performed live. They didn't lipsynch, they honored the 9/11 victims, and they didn't spout their liberal politics. You know, if MTV really wanted to do something "shocking" with their halftime show, why didn't they start by having the artists actually sing live, instead of lip-synch?

How is it you can insult us by calling us prudes in post after post and when someone dishes it back at you, you ask them not to reply anymore?

Of course breasts aren't evil. While we're at it, though, maybe Justin T. should have pulled his drawers down, bent over, stuck a horn in, and tooted "Moon River".
What the hell, right?

Let me refrase this so people understand my PROFOUND comment....(sarcasm)....
I just meant that when women take their tops off at the beach, 'just to feel good'? Baloney. We, women, know damned well what we are doing. We are doing it to turn other guys on. It is totally sexual.

We missed it! LOL. Hubby was watching the game, and when the halftime show came on we tried watching it, but it was really bad. We changed the channel when he started humping her around the stage, probably moments before the funny part. There was nothing sexy about it. It was just gross. We didn't see her _ _ _ _s, but we did see her make a _ _ _ _ of herself.
