Re: Public Nudity laws

FYI, Houston PD is referring callers to phone local CBS affiliate and the NFL. Houston P D's media office is closed, and the call-taker had "no comment" as to whether public nudity laws were broken tonight by Janet Jackson.

NFL Phone # 212-450-2000

CBS Main Network Broadcast Phone # (212) 975-4321

AOL Corporate Phone Number # (703) 265-4670

I didn't realize MTV was sponsoring it. That would have been my first clue to turn off the TV for 30 minutes...

People just have to put their money where their mouths are and stop watching. Until they do, they only have themselves to blame for programming like this.Brings to mind newspaper ads that comedian Steve Allen used to take out, protesting the trash on TV. Bless his heart.

I guess you were shocked when Britney & Madonna kissed, huh?

Justin Timberlake certainly acted shocked and appalled by that, yet he exposed Janet's breast tonight!

And yeah, I do kind of expect an event on network TV that's supposed to be family viewing to not have nudity.

maybe now your PRUDE behinds will talk to your kids about what's really going on.

How dare you.

There's nothing prudish about not wanting to see simulated sex acts during a halftime show. You, sir or ma'am, are pathetic. And this is coming from someone who rarely, if ever, reacts to a post in a hostile manner.

Who would have thunk we needed an parental advisory rating on the Superbowl??? I guess we should of had a clue when they said MTV was producing the half-time show, but come on, this is professional football. When's the last time your local game showed women stripping, bumping, grinding, and exposing their chests? CBS, MTV were toast in this house previously and now the NFL is toast for the super-garbage show. I know I am seriously embarrassed at being an American (and the whole world watching)after watching that softporn production.

"Later it was confirmed that CBS, which broadcasts the Super Bowl and half-time show, had approved the tear-of strip." I figured CBS's outrage was phony. It was planned all along, and they approved! The ONLY way to stop this is to boycott their advertisers! THEN they will get the message.
