Really, your prose has got to be the most artistically constructed word salad I have read! But boobs are my most valuable asset?

BUMP to your post 965.
Especially because it was INTENTIONAL.

With Michael we have to leave it to the courts, with Janet we all saw it with our own eyes. She is GUILTY!

But I never expected nudity like this. NEVER
Nor would I have thought as a grandparent or parent to expect this level of it on NETWORK tv, at the SUPERBOWL! Did you?
I know what you're saying, and it was sleazy.. but I didn't think it would be like this, did you? Not to this level.
It was beyond shocking. A bare breast suddenly appearing...
It was nudity.. and INDECENT EXPOSURE was *forced* upon hundreds of thousands of unsuspecting innocent children under the age of 12 (Not to mention those under 18 whose parents don't believe their kids should be seeing this kind of thing).
There were a lot of outraged parents at work today.

Detroit has never been in a Superbowl.

That was the intention, of course, to shock and offend.
The people who want us to believe we are "prudes" are so full of horse flatulence.

Sad truth! Lets hope you are wrong and that PARENTS and GRANDPARENTS aren't just sitting around the coffee pots at work today complaining (which I KNOW they are, because I've heard about it).. but are calling and mailing officials and DOING something about it!
It was shocking.
There was no time, no chance to turn the channel. What a disgusting half time, at what SHOULD have been a really fun superbowl. Considering the game was so close and exciting.
What TRASH! They ruined the rest of the game for me and I'm sure for a LOT of other people.
The teams who were playing ought to be REALLY ticked off too.

"Anyone have answers out there???"
The condition is called Vitiligo. It's a condition where you loose the pigment in the skin. It can appear anywhere on the body and I don't believe there is a cure as yet. Only "cure" is make-up.

Yes It was Indecent Exposure. IT'S A FELONY-- A CRIME Our laws say so .... There are thousands of ordinary people who are charged with this same thing on a regular basis. Isn't Michael Jackson also being charged with this same type crime????
Even if it was an accident.. It still happened she was exposed.. are there a different laws for entertainers than there are for ordinary folks??? Next time a cop stops you for speeding try telling him it was an accident that you were speeding.. See how far that gets you out of getting a ticket.

Can you imagine all the churches holding "Super Bowl" Sundays & the horror at half-time?

Wow!! Great job Julie!! Wish I had stock!!
I'll e-mail people on my private e-mail list. I think I know people who DO have stock!
Thanks!!
Great job!

Nice, so people can expose themselves to kids in public at will? Good grief..
Sheesh! Well, we tried!
Thanks

They don't know me if they think I'm a prude. But they also don't know me as a Parent or a Grandparent.
I'm sick of LIBERALS shoving this crap down our throats. Which is exactly what Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, CBS and MTV just tried to do.
They didn't allow for any WARNING, or a chance for parents or grandparents to get kids out of the room or to change the channel.
So they are in big trouble. I hold them responsible.
It sounds like the FCC is going to also.
It was immoral, indecent, and outrageous. PERIOD!
Not to mention what they just did to the Superbowl!
To: juzcuz
That's why I don't understand her not being arrested immediately.
I think charges should be filed. Perhaps a parent must file them? Someone who was there?

I know. The whole halftime show was awful. To be honest we were watching the show, and during the Nellie thing, we were going "What the heck is this" as the girls took off a layer of clothes. But then you see that they *still* have clothes on.
So we thought.. ok, thats the worst of it (we were sure hoping anyway). But no.. on comes Janet and Justin..and then they are grabbing each others tushes.. and then BAM.. a BREAST!
And believe me.. if you ACCIDENTLY took off someones top, you wouldnt' be standing there holding it in your hands looking defiant like Justin did, you'd be shocked! He wasn't!
So Justin Timberlakes excuse this morning of an "accident" are an added insult to our intelligence.
I think he is waking up to realizing he made a HUGE mistake, and that it didn't go over well at all. So now he is complicating it all with LIES.
He has *overshadowed* a Superbowl with this crud!! He has made the BIGGEST MISTAKE of his life. One he will have a hard time living down.
Pure sleaze..

Dear NFL Fan,
Thank you for your comments and interest in the
National Football League.
We were extremely disappointed by the
MTV-produced halftime show. It was
totally inconsistent with assurances our office
was given about the content
of the show.
The show was offensive, inappropriate and
embarrassing to us and our fans.
We will change our policy, our people and our
processes for managing the
halftime entertainment in the future in order to
deal far more effectively
with the quality of this aspect of the Super
Bowl.

"There was no time, no chance to turn the channel." There rarely is, if you think about it, which is PART OF why the argument, "if you don't like it, change the channel" is so lame.
