Hey, I actually met Sen. Kerry in person!

I personally met Sen. John Kerry in Boston in 1992 at a Boston Northeastern University political science gathering and found him cold, aloof, unfriendly and condescending. In fact, the only person he was warm to was the token "gay" guy at the gathering. I guess I was not diverse enough to be talk to him in a social situation. Furthermore, my Syrian friend Khalid saw him groping women and acting drunk at the Harvard Club in Boston (yeah I know he went to Yale, but he IS a senator and can do that). And at an election year party in 1992 at the Weston Hotel which I attended (I was once a Democrat...gasp!) he would not shake hands with anyone who was not either in a 500 buck Dior tie or a dyke crewcut. Are these revelations of any concern to anyone sorry enough to have met the arrogant jerk of a man?

Thank you for your personal report.
Apparently, there are some delusional people posting here who think he should be elected so we can have divided government and gridlock.
The fact that this loser would appoint the cabinet, control foreign policy, and appoint lifetime federal judges has escaped their feeble brains.
Glad to see first-hand experience posted here. Thanks!

Not to mention the tax hikes we'd all suffer under this "working man's" candidate!

I know what you mean. Those guys are really starting to tick me off. Not only are they delusional and negative, they are also the rudest posters on FR.

What? A wealthy Mass. snob, you say? why, I never would have guessed....
To: ChadGore
He is definitely only upping his military experience because it is helping his cache as a "war hero." He certainly did not emphasize this point when he first ran for Senator.

Tell me, is John Kerry a puppet of ...dare I say it? Ted Kennedy. Are their voting records similar?

No problem Miss Marple! I wanted to report this because when I initially met him, I said "there is no way this jerk will be elected dog catcher out of New England!" Maybe he rehearsed warmth for a few months with the aid of a "Tony Robbins" type therapist. He has always been very out of touch, especially since he married for money, and then the rich widow snot actually made him sign a prenuptual! Must have hurt! People say that his wife is even more arrogant and elitist than he is.

he should be elected so we can have divided government and gridlock Yes, I've been seeing that too. These people are out of their minds. There is no way this could be beneficial - except to the Dems.
But even in "on the ground" terms, this is silly. Kerry is not even the official candidate (I think it will be Edwards, after all the shouting has died down). But gullible Freepers are biting, although why they should want Kerry is beyond me.
I still think there's a whole lot of internet manipulation going on.

I met him in Boston while protesting Klink. Well I didn't actually meet him but I did give him an earful and in return was glared at as if I was a caste not seldom encountered by the annointed.
