Calling in some prayer warriors to lift up you ladies and all our troops.

May God be with those who are injured and with their families. And if there is one who has made the ultimate sacrifice, may God welcome him Home with open arms and comfort his grieving family.

Prayers for your husbands.

Please, please get in touch with them and, if you get a minute, tell us if they are OK.

We are all praying fervently for their safety.

Post as soon as you know anything, I'll watch this thread until I hear something. This extension is bad enough, now this, but I know that Jason is exactly where he knows he needs to be.

George Bush needs to start arming the Kurds. The Kurds support us 99 percent. If the Turks dont like it, to bad.
The best thing for America is a Kurdish state with Kirkuk as the capital.

Same with Mike....his mission comes first...Anaconda has had so many attacks...Mike was out in the middle of the night(going to the bathroom) when rockets and mortars went over his head...raced back to get everyone up....

A sincere observation.

By continually posting these reports, especially in the Breaking News sidebar, this website has become the premier site to track these losses. This almost instantanoeus, widely collated, information is then dissemented to other information sources. A free Nexus Lexus for our poltical opponents.

This pattern of continually and accurately informing the world, and Bush's detractors, of our losses is probably not in the best interest of our cause if we wish Bush to be reelected.

I'm not suggesting the information be suppressed but I am suggesting posting reports of every loud sound in downtown Baghdad, or every loss of our brave combatants on the Breaking News sidebar plays directly into the hands or our political enemies.

I don't know, maybe its the media coverage, but it just seems that our counter-insurgency operations have lessened since that burst of activity after saddam's capture.

Probably strategic decisionmaking, aimed not at the jihadis, but intended to strike a less aggressive and heavy-handed posture, for the benefit of Iraqi populace who have found some of the door-kicking (esp. in cases of mistaken identity/address) abrasive and annoying.
