VANITY: The best way to keep America a sovereign free nation is to keep the Democrats out of power!
Free Republic

Will Bush solve the illegal immigration problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the government spending problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the campaign finance problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the drug war problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the nation's education problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the so-called healthcare problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the so-called environmental problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the social security problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the medicare problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush defend America from those bent on destroying her? You'd better bet your sweet bippy he will.

Will any of the Democrats defend America? Hell no they won't. They'd rather turn us over to the U.N. They'd surrender to the French Foreign Legion if given the chance.

Will Bush appoint conservative judges? Yup!

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, appoint conservative judges? Yeah, right. And hell will freeze over tomorrow.

Will Bush continue reducing taxes? Yup.

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, raise your taxes as soon as they possibly can if given the opportunity and continue raising them until hell freezes over? Yup.

Will Bush defend the right to life? Check

Will Bush defend marriage between a man a woman? Check

Will Bush defend the right to keep and bear arms? Check

Will Bush say no to Kyoto? Check.

Will Bush say no to a world court? Check.

Will Bush say no to the U.N.? Check.

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, remove our national sovereignty and subjugate America to world government? Just as quickly as they possibly can if given the opportunity.

Will any other person be elected to the Presidency in 2004 other than Bush (God willing) or a Democrat? Obviously not.

Doesn't make a lick of sense to me to allow the America hating, freedom hating Democrats back into power now that we've kicked them out.

Say yes to sovereignty for America and continued freedom for all Americans.

Say no to the RATS!!

Did you mean there's something sacred about the current president?

I believe she meant there is something sacred about prayer.

I am in the process of arguing with someone that is on the exact opposite of that. Now, who is right? You that we should "let it all hang out" OR the other who says that politics must incorporate "absolute moral imperatives".

Yes.......and just read an article that said the money is now going to REAL arts, like Shakespeare......REAL Shakespeare, and not mapplethorpe the foul.

That's why it was important to wait for the FACTS to come in........

10% of the time Arne's a good guy.

He once flamed me for no reason over at the Daily Dose thread. I dropped it, because I don't scrap there.

A few weeks later, out of the blue, Arne publicly apologized. I was quite impressed. It was deserved, but unexpected.

So, I know there's a good guy in him, sometimes.

Thank you, Daughter. I do believe the fellow knew exactly what I meant, but he, as usual, was being obstreporous, and inane.

Which is why it is impossible to take him seriously most of the time..........

There is good in us all, or most of us. As I age, I find it increasingly difficult to dislike folks personally. Probably that's an indication of incipient senile dementia. But some of us are more naughty than others, and some rather consistently more naughty.

Ok - so he still is conservative. I don't see it - unless you think that gays should be segregated (gay only fountains, waiting rooms), gays shouldn't vote, or should be refused a job or fired for reasons of being gay....Goldwater never took a stand for special rights, he just felt that everyone should have the same right under the Constitution and as to civil rights, there shouldn't be special government race programs.

Pretty conservative...and JFK was never than far right.

Speaking of evil, have you ever read the Democrat Party platform?

Oh yea. It's bad all right.

I spent much of yesterday defending myself from someone that didn't feel I was supplicating myself enough to Bush's policy decisions. I am a conservative moreso than I am a republican, so I have, especially lately, been critical of Bush. But there is no denying, as you have made clear in this thread, that he is clearly superior to any alternative. There is no way that any Democrat should be allowed to get anywhere near the oval office, and 3rd party votes gave us Clinton.

I will vote for Bush in November out of pragmatism more than principle. And that is, unfortunately, the best any of us will be able to do.

He is far to the left of social conservatives. You know the ones, the Reagan revolutionaries. Goldwater was strictly a "fiscal" conservative and not really all that dogmatic on the principle. He NEVER went after the true liberals; he just attacked those "country club" republicans in class warfare rhetoric that would have made Marx blush.
