I've never stood on any soapboxes preaching about principles. All I'm merely doing is discussing my unhappiness with Bush's liberal policies. The last time I looked, this was a conservative news discussion forum, not a Republican Party feel-good rabble-rouser.

We've heard the objections to some of Bush's policies, and we've debated them. Fair enough.

But it's an election year. And unless we prefer to throw away all the accomplishments and the progress we've made under Bush I'de say it is definitely time for a "Republican Party feel-good rabble-rouser."

Unless of course you would prefer a liberal Dem in the White House.

I didn't " attack " his " ctizesnship ". Take some reading comprehensiion classes.

You started out saying "Just how long have you lived in America, you Canadian transplant ?", then proceeded to claim Canadians speak out of both sides of their mouth. That's pretty clearly an attack.

You self appointed yourself toATTACK those you disagree with, who posted to those THEY disagree with and who,BTW, are diametrically opposed to the vast majority of the members of this site and its owner. Jim is here, I'm certain that the Mods are too, and YOU are not needed here,pretending that you are some kind of "peace officer ". Take your smarmy,supercilious, pompous postings someplace else.

First I'll point out that now you're attacking me (but that's okay). Second I'll point out that the Lead Moderator him/herself has encouraged self policing on the part of posters. That's all I'm attempting here. No "smarmy, supercilious pompous" manner intended. Sorry you took it that way.

As far as going somewhere else, I'll be going to bed soon, so I guess in that respect I'll be obliging your offer. You have a nice night.

You claimed the economy was more important to you then national security. You answered with more absurdity. I never claimed Kerry would do any of those things. Your answer was worse then even being specious.

Laz thinks it's cute...

Actually, I do. However, it seems to be distracting people who are easily distracted. Therefore, to faciliate communication, I'll take it off.

? You think a Dem is going to want this to happen?

So the want it?? ... No

However, Do you think a Dem President will have the balls to fight and prevent it??

The way they are talking about getting a permission slip from the French .. Just shows they have no balls

I wonder what your response would have been to the Declaration of Independence?

Sadly, I wouldn't have had a say. I'm a girl.

Yes. The rest was silly.

You think that Bush hewing to socialist and unconsitutional ideas is silly.

I view it as more tragic than silly.

Again, read ALL THREE books then get back to me!

Additionally, if you believe President Reagan avoided all of the fiscal errors that you accuse President Bush of then I suggest you add David Stockman and Don Regan's books to your reading list [FYI: Reagan still holds the record for the largest deficit relative to GDP in the country's history! FYI2: Before you attempt to blame this on a Democrat House, you should know that Congress returned budgets to Reagan within 1% of what he requested Hmmmmmmmmmm!]

Thank you Jim. You are someone to be admired and I do. I also stand with our President George W. Bush. The alternative is atrocious. I could not even imagine any of the democrats getting their filthy, dirty hands into our White House. I shudder at the thought.

EEE may have been a Pattie supporter in 2000. I can't remember for sure, but it wasn't President Bush.....

```Then, the anti-Bush attacks are predictable and repeatative so the digression there gets pretty boring.```
Neets has taken care of that
Yep, Neets listed a bunch from the nauseating litany.... puts it into perspective!
I thought you were posting for him -- that's how it came across to me. I have seen him post a lot of things about this Country that off the mark IMO.
Just don't appreciate someone from another Country on this thread telling us what is wrong. This thread was put up by Jim telling why he is supporting the President for reelection. I thought his comments were out of place if he couldn't vote in this Country.
Dear lord......what we have here is someone playing "the reasonable man" dealing with silly, vapid women. :-)
What a strange comment. I couldn't care less what gender you are, although folks like yourself continue to try and make it an issue on this thread. All I'm interested in is good conversation - I've seldom bothered myself with finding out poster's demographics.
Well, I'm not so sure about that. Review the statistics gathered by the ACU. I believe the Republicans are much more conservative than the Democrats and I believe there are many more Republicans who are supporters of private property and of state and local power than there are Democrats. In fact, I doubt there are any Democrats at all who support state and local power. Hell, they don't even truly support federal power. That's just a means to their end goal. Most of them want to dissolve the US and turn us over to the UN and a world government. Hmmmm... and I think that's where we came in.
