National Review magazine probably is right-should we be rooting for Dean now? (drawing more of Kerry's resources from the general campaign)

Looks like Edwards is the main competition!

This Dem Primary is sure a mixed bag. I do not see a clear winner. Is Hillary going to be chosen during the Rat convention?

Well, I guess it's pointless, but I am rooting for Lieberman.

Edwards must win South Carolina or he said he will quit.

Looks like Dean will have to hang his hat on winning New Mexico because there is no way he will get Michigan.(his camp was hoping for heavy union turnout)

And Clark may pull one out in Oklahoma to give him an added boost

Lieberman is a dead man walking. (electorally speaking)

I dont see anything in these numbers that give him hope..

Yeah, I know. At this point I am rooting for Edwards to do well, because I don't want Clark in the top 3. I can't stand that guy.

Knock out Edwards, THEN root for Dean.

Edwards or Clark could pull the upset in Arizona for some badly needed momentum.

Could be a major swing state if Kerry romps in Missouri and Michigan as expected

Edwards has got to win somewhere else than South Carolina.

His only shot (with his accent) is Oklahoma..

We should have kept quiet about Dean. We are the one's who killed him by making it so damn obvious we wanted him to win the nomination.

I think Dean did it to himself by that weird yelling at 4AM in Iowa in front of the college kids.

Just like Al Gore in 2000, that stuff never really gets out of the public mind

And look at those Missouri and Michigan numbers.

Very populous states going huge for the frontrunner.

Edwards has got to win somewhere else than South Carolina.

He MIGHT be able to catapult from South Carolina to the Tennessee/Virginia primaries. I'll be nervous 'til that guy is gonzo. He's Bill Clinton redux, without the zipper problem.

Some pundit last night said that it was looking as though the top candidates could each win a primary next week thereby confusing the dems even more.

The longer this primary process goes the better for us because they have to spend money in these primaries. Hopefully the mud will start slinging again too, hopefully real soon.

I think this was predicted:

Clark wins Oklahoma
Lieberman wins Delaware
Edwards wins South Carolina
Dean wins New Mexico
Kerry wins Missouri

As easy as Dean would be for Bush to eviscerate, I can't bring myself to supporting someone with Howard Dean's values and positions. I'd rather see Kerry, Lieberman or Edwards. They would fight harder against Bush, but if they won, it would not be as evil as either a Clark or a Dean 'Presidency'.

Dean has been working the superdelegates hard, IIRC. He just has to keep pace with Kerry and he could still win this thing.

If he can close up in Michigan and Missouri, it then goes to Super Tuesday.
